Typical Swiss wooden chalet on the upper south facing slopes above Villars and with spectacular mountain views over Les Portes de Soleil, the chalet is surrounded by its own private garden, with outdoor parking in the grounds. Very peaceful location. 20 minutes walk from the town centre and 10 minutes walk from the chair lift. The apartment owned by an interior designer/chef is decorated for their own use and therefore is furnished to a very high standard. The huge south facing terrace has a rustic wooden dining table and benches and wooden lounge furniture/deckchairs and a barbecue. The south facing lounge/dining has an open fire. The kitchen is equipped to a very high standard. There is also Satellite TV and wireless internet.

Ski in/out and 10 minutes walk from the gondola. Within skiing or driving reach of Les Diablerets Glacier. 40 minutes by car to Les Portes de Soleil, 1 hour drive to Verbier. Children ski pass is free in Villars/gryon.

Further details
Villars has a wide variety of ski shops, banks, hotels and restaurants. It is 20 minutes to drive to the valley where there is extensive shopping in large super/hypermarkets where prices are cheaper that in the skiing resorts. The village has very well equipped supermarkets (Coop, Migros)
and some smaller convenience shops which open longer hours and at weekends. It is renowned for its international schools and colleges. This is a wine growing region and there are many wineries and 'Caves' for the local Swiss wine. Train access is available to the resort from Geneva airport.
Booking notes
Deposit CHF600. Full payment 5 weeks before rental date. A CHF 250 security deposit is requested for breakages, non payment of Taxe de Sejour, firewood additional cleaning etc. This can be made in cash on the day of arrival and will be refunded on the day of departure after check out is completed.
