Apartment C (90 Square Metres) is on the top floor and is luxuriously appointed. 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 balconies ensure sun all day long and the views are breathtaking. Apartment A (150 Square metres) the ultimate in luxury apartments, probably the finest in Engelberg and in the most magnificent setting. With floor to ceiling windows and balcony around 3 sides, State of the Art Kitchen and Bathroom, Wood burning fireplace, Satellite TV, Hi-Fi, DVD, 2 large private terraces, one with a “Hot Tub” together with a Covered Balcony. All 4 Apartments have use of the Finnish Sauna, Laundry Room (Washer Dryer), Ski Room and Covered Parking is available to all our guests.

Notes on prices
Please note that bedding/towels are 30CHF per person and the Local tax is 3.20CHF per person, per day (12 years and over). Apartment C Cleaning is 150CHF per stay and Apartment A is 250CHF per stay. All prices are based on a 7 night stay. Please contact us directly for shorter stays.
Changeover day
Saturday is the normal change over day, flexible depending on time of year. Arrival after 2.30pm and departure before 10.00am.

| Apartment A (Sleeps 2 - 4) The Ultimate in Luxury Apartments with floor to ceiling windows on 3 sides affording the most stunning 220 degree panoramic views over Engelberg and the mountains. This beautiful, magnificently appointed apartment is totally unique and is arguably the finest apartment in the region. A massive living area with a delightful Wood Burning Open Fire, Hi Fi, Satellite TV, DVD Player etc. leads into a 'state of the art' Kitchen which includes, dishwasher, microwave etc. The large Double Bedroom with walk in wardrobe has a PC with DVD and the adjoining Bathroom is the ultimate in luxury with separate shower, double basins and a huge bath. There is a continuous balcony around 3 sides with a large covered Sitting Area at the centre. There are 2 large terraces on each side, one with a Private Hot Tub which has unbeatable views. Guests also enjoy Covered Parking, use of the Finnish Sauna, Laundry/Washer Drier, Ski Room and use of the Garden. | |
Notes on accommodation
Heating is underfloor and adjusts automatically to the outside conditions ensuring the perfect room temperature, whatever the weather.
Apartment C is suitable for children, all the balconies have railings which are children friendly.
Apartment A is perfect for Honeymoons, Wedding Anniversaries and Special Romantic Occasions ... the Private Hot Tub and Open Fireplace are perfect for that sense of Luxurious indulgence.
Outside
There are sun chairs and tables on the balconies to ensure you enjoy the sunshine and the glorious views. There is a Garden and Sitting area above the house with a stone built barbeque
Apartment A has a Private Hot Tub, Barbeque, 2 Sunloungers and 2 sets of tables and Chairs ... with 2 terraces and a Covered Balcony to choose from to soak up Engelberg's 220 days of sunshine a year and enjoy breathtaking panoramic mountain views.
Coast/Beach
Lake Lucerne is only a 20 minute drive down the valley and has some beautiful Lake Side beaches and bathing areas. In the Summer, the Lake temperature is usually well over 20 degrees.
Golf
Engelberg has a splendid 18 hole golf course which can be seen from the apartments. Situated towards the end of the valley it is in the perfect setting. Guests are welcome to play from April to October. If you are a golfer, the location and the 360 degree views will blow you away ... one of the most scenic courses in the world!
Skiing
Engelberg has an enviable snow record and one of the longest ski seasons in Europe … Early November to Late May • Most of the 86 kms of Skiing / Boarding is above 1800m guaranteeing excellent snow cover • Engelberg is renowned for off piste Snowboarding with a superb Snow Park • The famous Titlis Glacier ensures Boarding and Skiing 12 months of the year.

Travel
Fly: Zurich or Basel Airports are the closest
Drive: A little over an hour’s drive from Zurich. Follow motorway direction Luzern, then direction Gothard and follow signs for Engelbergthal-Engelberg. (Chains or 4X4 are required in the Winter.)
Train: There are regular trains from Zurich and Basel Airport to Engelberg. 'Intercity' train to Luzern then onto the delightful mountain train that takes you up the Engelberg valley. Journey time - 2 hours 15 minutes

Alphaven … a few other things you might like to know!
• Alphaven is 1200 metres (4000 feet) above Sea Level.
• It is a 4 Minute Walk to the Ski Bus (Route 4) which is free during the Ski Season and is every half an hour (on the hour and half past the hour)
• It takes 10 minutes to walk to the village and allow 15 minutes to walk back up!
• When there is snow cover … you can Ski / Board back to the house from the “Brunni” side of the mountain
• There is a footpath next to the house which connects to all the beautiful walking routes in Engelberg
• There is a Sitting Area in the Garden above the house which is a perfect setting in the summer for Barbeques or simply relaxing and enjoying the magnificent views.
• If you want to eat out and don’t want to drive, the four star Waldegg Hotel is a 5 minute walk, it has a delightful restaurant with wonderful food and a recently completed Swimming Pool and Gym which is open to non-residents.

A 50% deposit is required when booking and the remaining 50% to be paid 30 days before arrival.
