Beautifully located marina, front line duplex apartment with private shared pool and terraces on both floors giving superb views over the marina and Mar Menor. The Tomas Maestre Marina is renowned for its superbly varied cuisine as well as numerous shops and bars. The surrounding area provides many and various amenities including tennis, water sports and boat hire. The Mar Menor (inland sea) promenade is within 200 yards and offers safe bathing with the beaches a further 200 yards away. For those not wishing to use a car there is a very good bus service giving access to the entire La Manga strip and on to Cartagena. The area is ideally suited to couples and families.

Lower terrace has dining table for alfresco dining with a beautiful view. Both terraces ideal for lounging and upstairs terrace is partially covered providing a shaded area.
All linen, towels and bathrobes provided, including beach towels.
Linen is laundered each week.

About the area
The shared pool area is for the sole use of residents and includes a large lounging area around the pool and a table tennis table. The pool is approx 10m x 5m and includes toddler area. There is also an area for safely storing bicycles.
The nearest beaches are approximately 400-500 yards away. The La Manga strip is an 18 miles long spit into the sea with beaches along both sides, offering a choice of inland sea or Mediterranean sea beaches. The beach gradient is very shallow offering safe bathing conditions particularly for young children. All beaches are sandy with many having beach bars/cafes.
There is a 9 hole golf course within 2 miles at Veneziola with a driving range and practice facilities. Within 30 minutes are the famous championship courses at the La Manga Club. Within 45 minutes are the newer courses recently built by Polaris such as Torre Pacheco, Hacienda, Alamo and Mar Menor.
How to get there
Nearest airport is San Javier (Murcia) 45 minutes drive or Alicante 75 minutes. Both are serviced by virtually all low cost carriers. Guests can hire cars at the airport or can be picked up from the airport. There is a ferry service from Santiago de Ribera (5 miles from Murcia airport) to the marina.
The Zoco shopping centre is approx 5 miles away whilst the fishing village of Cabo de Palos is 15 miles away, both can be reached by local bus. La Manga Club is 30 minutes away by car and its facilities include golf, tennis, restaurants and a casino. The port of Cartegena is fascinating with many historical sites dating back to Roman times and is 40 minutes by car. Murcia City offers superb Baroque architecture coupled with extensive shopping facilities and can be reached by car in 50 minutes.
The Tomas Maestre Marina offers most things you will need for a relaxing holiday including supermarkets, chemists and banks as well as cosmopolitan bars and restaurants offering an extensive variety of cuisine and at reasonable prices! You can cross the inland sea by ferry to the mainland from the Marina for a nominal charge. Car hire is available locally as is access to all forms of water sport including diving, kite surfing and sailing. Cabo De Palos offers wonderful dining for seafood lovers and also a Sunday morning market.
To book the apartment please email the owner we can give phone number if preferred. A security bond of £100 is held. This will be returned 2 weeks after vacating the apartment.
A deposit of £100 per week is required at time of booking and the full amount is payable 1 month prior to departure.
