The villa is situated in large private gardens 5 mins drive/15 mins walk from the market town of Orgiva. There are many shaded sitting areas and a large pool and sun terrace with plenty poolside furniture. The house is furnished to a high standard and very unusually also has a baby grand piano. The large kitchen is well equipped and is a delight to cook in. Orgiva is well placed to explore the white mountain villages which are set in a walker's paradise. In the other direction are the beaches of the Costa Tropical. We are 1 hour drive from the city of Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace. The town of Orgiva has a number of small shops and supermarkets as well as numerous tapas bars and restaurants. A holiday here can be as active or relaxed as you choose.

Outdoor kitchen area with pizza oven, large barbecue,sink and 2 ring gas hob. Swing seat. Herb garden. Many fruit trees including orange,lemon,pomegranite apple,pear,apricot,almond and walnut.which you are welcome to pick.
Coast/Beach
The closest beach is approx. 30 min away at Motril and Salobrena. Both east and west of Motril there are many beaches on the Costa Tropical.

How to get there
Malaga airport is well served from the UK and is 110 km from Orgiva ( approx 1hr 45min ) A car is recommended and can be hired at Malaga airport. Bilbao/Santander are about 9 hours drive. Madrid 4.5 hours.
Distances
The ancient city of Granada and the Alhambra are less than an hours drive and make a great day out. The small mountain villages above Orgiva can be reached in 30 minutes and offer spectacular views and good walking opportunities.

We also have cookery books and books which give an interesting insight into the history of this fascinating area.
Booking notes
A non returnable deposit of £300 is required as confirmation with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival. A £300 returnable breakages deposit is required along with the final payment. This will be returned, subject to the villa being returned in satisfactory condition.
