This property, Bay Tree villa, on Tetuan, has 2 bedrooms plus bathroom, large lounge, air con and ceiling fans, fully fitted kitchen and large patio with wall mounted sun blind and patio furniture. Vines hang over the enclosed garden with sweet tasting grapes that can be picked when ripe.

Notes on prices
Longer term lets available at negotiable pricing. Lower priced taxis can be pre- arranged for collection/delivery to airport, etc. at cost price. Cots can be pre-arranged at cost price.
Normally Sat/Sat during main season but ask. Flexible other times of year. Cleaning normally between 10.00 and 13.00 but alternative arrangements can be made.
About the area
There are steps around this picturesque development so unfortunately would be difficult for guests with mobility problems.
Large walled patio/garden area. The lockable rear gate opens into a small garden area with vines and edible grapes hanging over the walls. A few steps lead up to an L shaped patio with barbecue, wall lighting and external electrical sockets. A full length wind-out sun blind provides the necessary shade and patio furniture including large table, 6 chairs, sun loungers, separate umbrella are all provided. Patio doors to both bedrooms plus 2 sets to the lounge all have lockable grills allowing secure ventilation. The nearest pool is 3 minutes walk down steps and is overlooked by the restaurant bar. A children's pool is just below this and another larger pool is 3 minutes in the other direction and can be seen from the patio across the open green area outside the property.
Nearest beach, Burriana 15 minutes stroll. This is fine sand and some pebbles and deck chairs & umbrellas can be hired. Many other beaches within 15 min by car.
The owner's favourite golf course is Baviera, only 25min drive away. The course has views of both the sea and mountains, a couple of narrow fairways plus around 40% holes with water around. One section is in a ravine so the G.C. is very varied. The 19th is a new club house with great views over the course.
Other courses in the area are Motril Salabrena - beachside links plus Rincon dela Victoria with it's tight valleys.
The most southerly ski resort of Sol y Nieve, Sierra Nevada is only 1.5 hours away. The resort is a lively mix of restaurants and bars and the main chair lift is close to the centre. Skiing is usually from early December until late April which means that can you you decide, in any of the winter weeks, between sun bathing on the beach and skiing 90 minutes away.

Mountain climbing & walking is with 15 minutes stroll. Scuba diving, water skiing, wind surfing, cycling can all be arranged locally.
How to get there
Malaga airport is 45min by car. A car is not essential as many local buses will get you around but a car allows visits to some of the interesting out of the ways mountain villages. A pre-arranged taxi will cost around 50euros or by bus approx. 10euro total.
Nerja caves 3km. Maro 2km. Frigiliana 10km. Torrox Costa 12km. Velez Malaga / Torre del Mar 25km.
Nearest supermarket is only 8 min walk. Bakers Bar, Burriana. Great food. English owner. 3 large flat screens for sport events. Book for food on popular occasions.
Balcon de Europa. Nerja has all banks.

About the Owner
Originally purchased the property 9 years ago after falling in love with Oasis when on our own holiday. Looking forward to being able to spend more winters in Nerja after retirement in a few years time. Originally jointly owned by Geoff and Pat Nicholls together with 2 close friends but 4 years ago the friends sold their share to another pal, Dave Piranzi, who had also enjoyed his trips over to the property as a guest. We now get over when ever we can, together or separately.

Why this location?
Quiet development and yet within a 15 minute walk from beach and town plus restaurants and bars. Oasis is full of cascading bougainvillea, vines, pine trees and open grassed areas. Oasis has white walled properties with various steps leading down to the restaurant, pools and boule court.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
The property was known as Bay Tree villa because of the large bay tree in the garden that acted as welcoming shade over the large patio. Unfortunately the tree was attacted by over zealous gardeners and died a few years ago. We therefore had a wind out sun shade fitted. From the patio the Meditteraean can be seen unless the affore mentioned gardeners have not pruned the many trees in the area! Because the area is protected from the north by the Sierra Nevada mountains Nerja has a micro-climate of soft dry air and lies in one of Spain's richest farming areas, know as the 'Garden of Europe'.
