Important notes on accommodation
Staying in a cave is a unique, plus environmentally friendly experience. Caves maintain an ambient temperature of between 14 – 20 degrees all year around. So air conditioning is not required, even if the outdoor temperature soars. They are also very quiet, many people comment on how well they sleep. Clients have commented on the significant comfort of the memory foam mattresses that are on both main beds. Clearly they aid sleeping comfort in a very positive way. We are very pleased to hear these comments from our clients.

About the Owner
My wife and I moved to Spain in November 2010, to escape our hectic lifestyle, and renovate our cave houses for the rental market. Our property is in the Andalucian village of Zujar, surrounded by mountains and lakes.
We live in the main house and offer the other two adjoining properties for tourist rental.
Cave houses are terrific, and maintain a year around ambient temperature of between 18c and 22c. No need for air conditioning.
With 300 days of Andalucian sunshine in the stunningly beautiful area of the Altiplano, we wont be going back to the UK anytime soon.
We have refurbished the properties, and should suit all needs. Our aim is to give everyone a wonderful holiday.
Come and join us and our playful German Shepherd, in the lovely tranquil area, and have a holiday to remember.
Year property purchased: 2010
Why this location?
We wanted a change of lifestyle, and somewhere to live in peace and tranquility. Then we saw cavehouses in Spain on a property programme on TV. This was just what we wanted. Checked out Spanish cave house estate agents, and found that we liked Zujar. The mountains and lakes here are fantastic, and the village life here is great. Now we have the rental units, and hope to share our dream with others who want to come here on vacation.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
Reasonable living costs and a lovely climate, plus the extremely friendly locals add to our enjoyment here.
