Casa LesMar is our well appointed coastal based three bedroom house which is available for holiday and long-term rental. The property is located on the edge of the exclusive area of Cabo Roig which is a picturesque peninsular in the heart of Southern Costa Blanca. Situated just off ‘The Strip’ on the N332 coastal road at the Vistamar Development, Aguamarina. A secure community development featuring a generous shared pool overlooking the sea. Immediately outside to the rear of the development is the coastal path offering excellent viewpoints and steps down to the sea. The nearest sandy beach (Playa De La Regia) can be reached in 10 minutes, on foot via the local roads. More beaches are close by. The house has a small secure driveway ideal to keep small children safe. Mini-markets, bars, restaurants and internet access are close by. Go golfing! 3 excellent golf course a short drive away, namely Campoamar, Villamartin and Las Ramblas, further courses are also available along the coast.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the full property per week in UK Pounds.
You are renting the house by the night which gives good flexibility out of season as regards flight prices, sometimes it's cheaper to stay an extra night for the bargain flight price. We will consider generous discounts for long-lets, particularly Nov to Feb.
Cleaning 60 Euros payable on arrival when agent meets and greets you and hands over keys.
A refundable security & key deposit of £100 is also taken.
Changeover day
During high season changeover is on Saturday's, 10am is the normal departure time to allow cleaning of the property. Out of high season we are more flexible on number of nights booked, departure times. Mid-week flights are often cheaper, please discuss.

Notes on accommodation
Tis is a family based property, very suitable for children, travel cot also available. Our personal website has plenty of pictures. Full air-conditioning fitted - this is probably only needed by a 1/4 of all bookings so to keep rental prices competitive it is metered on 5 euros prepayment cards available from the manager (ie only pay when needed). A payment card will last a reasonable period if the air-con is no left on for long periods. i.e. don't leave it on when out, or leave doors and windows open when in use.
Accessibility
The area is not ideal for people who have walking difficulties and need to go out about the locality a lot. The property does feature a downstairs toilet, washbasin and walk in shower. We wouldn't advise use of the property with a wheel chair.
Outside
Large private communal pool only a hop, skip and a jump away! Vistamar is a security gated community / urbanisation.
4 x folding chairs for use by the pool and beach are provided.
Coast/Beach
Nearest sandy beach is a 10 min walk. There are also other beaches within walking distance. The beaches have 'Blue Flag' awards for cleanliness. Loungers and umbrellas can be hired. The beach bars are open from Easter through to early November. The beaches have lifeguards & first aid cover during the months of July and August. The coast is directly behind the Vistamar urbanisation, offering superb viewpoints from the cliffs across the sea and towards Cabo Roig, Campoamar & La Manga.

Special interest holidays
Why not combine your holiday with some RYA training: Campoamor Marina is very close and by has a RYA Sailing / Powerboat / Jet Ski School. A little further there is RYA sailing school available in Torrevieja Marina. We understand you can also charter sailing from Cabo Roig harbour.
Travel
Murcia (San Javier) airport is a 20 mins drive and Alicante 40 mins. Car hire is not essential but hire will open up travel to more beaches and towns. Local markets are excellent. Outside is a market on Thursday & Playa Flamenca market on a Sat morning is close and worth visiting. Official licensed airport collection be arranged. Vist the salt lakes surrounding Torrevieja, home to flamingoes and a nature reserve. The magnificent cities of Murcia, Elche and Cartegena are all in reach by car.
Distances
The cosmopolitan town of Torrevieja with it's harbour, marina, parades, salt lakes, shops and street cafes is a 12 min drive from Casa LesMar along the coast road. The commercial centres at La Zenia and Playa Flemenca are a shorter drive away. Playa Flamenca has a plaza full of restaurants offering a wide variety of cusine. An efficient coastal bus service is available.
Further details
Shops, bars, restaurants and mini-markets are all available just outside of the urbanisation, including catering for all nationalities. Eating out offers tremendous value. Banks and cash tills are a plenty. To keep in touch there are two internet cafes only a short walk away, Bar Med close by also has wi-fi & PC internet access. The pharmacy and medical centre are a very short walk away.
Booking notes
Please ring or email to enquire about booking. A 20% deposit secures the booking, the balance becoming due 6 weeks before departure. A £100 refundable damage / key deposit is payable with the balance. A 60 Euro cleaning charge is payable locally on arrival when you are meeted at the property shown round and the keys are handed over. Bookings from families and golfers welcome.

We rented Casa Lesmar for a week in May 2011. The whole experience from initial enquiry, through provision of directions from the airport, key handover to the immediate refund of the damages deposit was a model of efficiency. The property is spacious, immaculate and very well equipped. The location mid way between the Cabo Roig 'Strip' and the sea front is ideal. The pool is very well maintained, and enjoys idyllic views of the Med. We have already recommended the property to friends and will definitely be re-book for our next trip to Costa Blanca. About the owner
The properties are owned by Lesley & Mark O'Dell, who reside in Warrington, Cheshire. We adore Spain hence the ownership of our properties. Our friends also live near the properties. We are married in our 50's and have three grown up children (2 boys who work in car rental management for an international company and a daughter who is nursery nurse). Here in the UK, Lesley is retired. Mark has retired from his former Police career and now works as a freelance trainer assessor, delivering first aid, Lifeguard training and health and safety courses - www.richmondtrainingassociates.co.uk.
We have both been actively involved in the Scout Association and Mark is a District Water Activity Adviser and a County Assessor for Canoeing and Dragon Boating.

It has to be the rugged coastline Mark enjoys fishing off the rocks and when his friend is down canoeing along the coast line.
