Welcome to Casa Los Olivos. Set in a lovely small village a little off the beaten track with stunning views and tranquil surroundings. The cottage has been beautifully restored and maintains its traditional Spanish feel whilst providing all the comforts of home. Within easy reach of airports at Granada (30 minutes) and Málaga (1 hour 15 minutes) and an ideal base for visiting the attractions of the wonderful city of Granada. Only 15 minutes from the bustling market town of Alhama de Granda with many bars and restaurants. You can relax in the private garden and enjoy the stunning views with a glass of wine or cool off in the small swimming pool. A river-side walk takes you to the local bars or a short drive brings you to the lovely turquoise lake at Bermejales where you can swim or hire boats. We are open all year round and you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome at Casa Los Olivos.

Notes on accommodation
Heating (gas heaters) available at no extra cost. In winter all beds have duvets and blankets. Children and pets welcome. Please let us know if you require cot with bedding when booking. Use of telephone and internet can be easily arranged.

Outside
Private garden with outdoor furniture. Small swimming pool (shared with owners). Patio areas with table, chairs and parasol/swing chair and sunbeds. Beautiful views of country side in a very tranquil and relaxing setting.
Coast/Beach
1 hour's scenic drive to coast with some lovely beaches and tourist attractions and only 20 minutes to beautiful turquoise lake with many amenities (Los Bermejales). Hot springs (balneario) located in Alhama de Granada (15 minutes away).

In easy reach of Sierra Nevada.
Special interest holidays
Granada is the most popular tourist attraction in Spain and is the setting for the stunning Alhambra a historic Moorish palace with beautiful gardens. Granada itself offers many modern shops and entertainments contrasting with the old bohemian Islamic quarter with its warren-like streets. The Sierra Nevada nearby is the most southerly ski resort in Europe and you can enjoy snowboarding and ice skating too
This area is excellent for birdwatching, walking and cycling which is especially recommended. We can sort out the hire of bikes and even supported biking tours - a super way to enjoy the scenery. At the nearby lake there is canoe hire and great swimming. The hot springs near Alhama offer free bathing and the Balneario Hotel has a swimming pool (at a small cost) and health treatments.
Babysitting service availble (qualified NNEB).
We can offer help and give a great deal of valuable advice to those wishing to re-locate into the area and provide many useful contacts.

Granada airport 30 mins, Malaga airport 1hour.
Car hire available from either airport.

Bread and fruit vans daily in village. Restaurant/bar and supermarket in next village 5 minute drive or 30 mins scenic walk along river bank. 15 mins drive to Alhama with many shops, bars and restaurants, banks petrol station etc. Busy market on a friday morning.
