Nestled in the hills, yet close to many beaches and set in attractive gardens with two swimming pools (one just for children), Los Altos De Lunymar is a family friendly, small gated development of spacious 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with large terraces. You'll have private underground parking in an allocated parking space right by the lift direct to the apartment. Our property is a spacious first floor 3 bedroom apartment which benefits from the sun from morning to mid-afternoon on the front terrace and from mid-afternoon until evening on the rear terrace, so your family can live, relax and eat outdoors. Our apartment looks directly over both pools, enabling you to keep an eye on children while they play. This is an ideal base for exploring the coast and its many attractions, or the famous white hill towns such as Ronda and Casares. Withing walking distance is Selwo Adventure Park and La Resina Golf Club which has a public restaurant. Several excellent beaches are very near.

Changeover day
There is no specified changeover day and you must leave the apartment by 11am on your day of departure unless other arrangements are made with our local agent

Accessibility
The apartment is accessed from the private underground car park by a lift which would be suitable for wheelchairs. The gardens are also wheelchair friendly.
Outside
The apartment has a large 45m2 terrace with a table and 6 chairs, 2 sun loungers and a barbecue. The gardens are attractively planted and well maintained and there are 2 communal swimming pools, one of which is just for children. The development is fenced and gated making it secure for young children.
Coast/Beach
You are minutes away by car from 3 beaches each with bars, restaurants and many activities. The Blue Dolphin Beach Club has a great atmosphere and you can take part in Dolphin & Jeep Eco trips & water sports. Heaven Beach is perhaps the nicest beach in our opinion and has a Chiringuito that serves a fantastic Mediterranean menu. Sonora Beach is an refreshing addition to the area with its chilled out, laid back yet down-to-earth attitude. Nearby Estepona has a wide sandy beach and is close by.
Golf
This area is renowned for its many golf courses, so you are never far from one but a 9 hole course, La Resina, is right on the doorstep and withing walking distance. Championship course Los Flamingos is a 10 minute drive away.
Travel
The main airport is Malaga, which is about 45 minutes away by car but Gibraltar airport is actually closer but doesn't have as many flights. Although the local transport network is efficient and reliable, a hire car is recommended for this area.
Distances
The apartment is about a 5 minute drive from Estepona and 10 from Puerto Banus and 15 from Marbella. Selwo Adventure Park is a 10 minute walk away and Cableski Marbella is a 10 minute drive. The Pueblo Blanco of Casares is a 30 minute drive and Ronda about an hour. Seville, Jerez, Granada and even Morocco are suitable for day trips. Gibraltar is a 40 minute drive.
Further details
There is no shortage of things to do and see on this part of the Costa Del Sol, which makes it suitable for families. As well as the closeness to beaches and attractions, there is a choice of supermarkets all within a 10 minute drive.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking and the balance is due 6 weeks before departure. On payment of final balance, you will be sent full details of how to get to the apartment where you will be met by our local agent who will show you around the apartment and answer any questions you might have. A security deposit of 200€ will be taken off a credit card on your arrival and subject to there being no damage or breakages, it will be refunded no later than 14 days after your departure.

The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was clean, spacious and well equipped. The quality of the furniture and kitchen equipment was excellent. The balcony was ideal for eating alfresco and the whole complex was quiet and relaxing. Bibs - Cheshire.
This apartment is one of the best we have visited. The rooms are very spacious and the apartment was immaculately clean with lovely towels provided. We all enjoyed spending time in the pool and the gardens. It was very useful for us to have a children's pool available. The terrace is huge and perfect for sunbathing in the daytime and barbecuing at night. The owner was very approachable and happily answered all our questions prior to our visit. Abi - Shropshire.
Our sons are aged 22 and 19 and the location was perfect for us as they found plenty to keep them amused. The apartment was the perfect size for us with both boys having separate rooms. This area of Spain has some wonderful picturesque scenery. Kevin - South Africa

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We wanted to have a place in the sun which was close enough to get to, in reasonable time from the UK. We wanted to be close to beaches, restaurants and activities, yet still be in a quiet location. The development of Los Altos De Lunymar was just ideal as it met those criteria.
We haven't been disappointed and try to get out there as often as we can to enjoy relaxing on our spacious terrace, with a drink and some wonderful local food.
Unique benefits of the property
In the winter, we enjoy walking along the quiet beaches and spending time just relaxing, reading and eating out but when it's busier and the weather warmer we enjoy the buzz that comes from the bars and restaurants on the beaches. We always hire a car as it's essential around here but we still have activities and restaurants within walking distance.
We try to get away from the coast as often as we can, into the mountains to visit the wonderful Pueblo Blancas. There is so much to see and do along this stretch of the Costa Del Sol that we've still plenty to explore.
