Our 5 independent well-furnished and air-conditioned, apartments (Apts.A, B, C, D & E) - each of 2 or 3 bedrooms - are situate amid 14 magnificent palm trees (flood lit between April - October) in a huge private and secure garden. There is a large pool with BBQ area and plenty of seating. The pool and BBQ area has been completely re-tiled and is fully equipped with tables, chairs, sun-loungers and parasols. Set in a tranquil high class residential area on pine covered slopes overlooking Jávea Bay (adjacent to Tosalet on the south side of Jávea Bay) and about 1.4km from the main sandy beach at Arenal (approx. 15 mins. walk - a little longer coming back depending on the restaurant!). The complex can be rented to groups provided bookings are made well in advance.

Notes on prices
Apt.E is somewhat cheaper than Apts. A and C but is only suitable for 2 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. In now has a covered terrace. The normal changeover date is Saturday but we are flexible outside high season. Rentals are then calculated on a pro-rata basis for the period concerned. Water, electricity, cable TV & Wi-Fi are included.

Changeover day
Apartments are rented by the week (Sat/Sat in high season). Otherwise we are flexible in this regard and will often allow a special rate for a min of 4 days.

Apts. A & C have 2 bedrooms (both twins). In Apt.E is a large double bed and bunk beds for children only. Bathroom. Kitchen. Living/dining room with cable TV. Balcony overlooking gardens and pool. Air-conditioning in summer (meter read and charged at cost). Winter rentals will be reduced to Euros 132 per week with heating provided via the air-conditioning system, also meter read and charged at cost. For Apt.E see text under Accessibility.

 

Notes on accommodation
Linen (except beach towels) is supplied and changed weekly. Water, gas and electricity (and central heating in winter) are included. There are new beds, bedroom furniture, microwaves and all our bathrooms have been completely renovated. The cable TV has been digitally upgraded and now offers a huge range of UK programmes (64) as well as Spanish (8), French (6), German (50) etc. When either booking chart is blocked off, showing as "booked", it means that both apartments of that bedroom size/specification have been taken. If one of the charts is not showing booked than at least one unit of that specification is therefore still available. Cots (18.00 euros per week) and high chairs (12.00 euros per week) can be hired but must be booked in advance. Breakfast packs can be obtained for clients landing after 16:30 hours but must be ordered in advance. The pathways and complete pool area are newly re-tiled. There is plenty of secure parking by the building.

Accessibility
The Apt.E is at ground floor level with its own furnished and partially enclosed terrace/dining area with extending sun blind (see living area under "more photos") is most suitable for wheelchair access. At a cheaper rental than A & C, it consists of one double-bedded room and bunks in the 2nd bedroom (suitable for children only). The lower two apartments. (C & D) can be accessed up 3-4 steps after travelling up the slope around the front of the building (a special ramp is available for Apt.C).

Outside
Over an acre of private garden with pool, barbecue and 14 magnificent palm trees which, like the pool, are now floodlit at night. Easy, secure parking. The apartments are ideal for independent-minded property seekers who can now work the property market via their internet connection (and, these days, there are many bargains to be had !). The garden area is secure, especially for children who often enjoy meeting other children in this excellent environment (there is no passing traffic anywhere near us). There is a ramp from the car park up to the pool area and to the apartments.

Coast/Beach
The main Arenal beach area, with bars, restaurants and supermarkets etc, is at about 1.4km (walking time approx. 15 mins). Photos: A marvellous display of photos of the area, taken by a regular client, can be seen at www.burdett.org.uk (click on Jávea 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 at that site).

Golf
We are ideally placed for golf - the nearest, Jávea Golf Course is less than 10 minutes away. This may only be a 9 hole course but is more difficult than it looks; it enjoys superb views of the 'landmark' mountain, Montgó, dominating Jávea. Towards Denia (c.15 minutes) is La Sella GC, a beautiful 18 hole course. Further afield (c.30 minutes) there is a new course at Oliva (designed by Seve Ballesteros) and, just south of Valencia, the famous links course of El Saler. Green fees are approx. Euros 70.

Special interest holidays
The theme park Terra Mitica is within easy motoring distance (a short hop down the AP7 motorway) as are the excellent Aqualandia (swim park) and MundoMar (dolphins) outside Benidorm.

Travel
Alicante (95km) or Valencia (125km) airports both with direct motorway connection (AP7). A car is essential in spite of proximity to facilities. We enjoy special car hire rates from the region's No.1 company - please ask for tariffs before booking (assistance with hire car problems is only given to those who book cars through us).

Distances
The nearest railhead (approx. 50km) is at Gandia. This connects to the whole Spanish rail network at Valencia (and thus northwards into France).

Further details
Free internet ADSL Broadband. The Wi-Fi network facility is now operating in all apartments. Free internet access is 24/7. The property is owner-controlled at all times. Booking notes
There is a nominal laundry charge of Euros 10.00 per person/ per week and a single contribution towards final cleaning 50.00 euros. Electricity for the air-conditioning will be meter-read and charged at cost. Deposit approximately one third on signature of agreement; the balance of the rental falls due 6 weeks before arrival. Returnable security deposit €200-500 per apt. (depending on length of stay).
