Notes on accommodation
Access to pool is by graduated (Roman) steps with handrail (not ladder). A car is necessary for access. Air-conditioning/heating optional at extra tariff.
Outside
Large shaded undercover terrace for alfresco dining. Private swimming pool with sun loungers set in a sunny terrace, surrounded by terraced gardens with native fruit trees and Mediterranean plants. Plenty of parking within fenced and gated garden.
Coast/Beach
The sandy beach of Villajoyosa is a 10 minute drive away. A promenade for those who enjoy strolling. At the end of the promenade you can find the marina and fishing harbour. Beyond the harbour you can find Estudiantes Beach (a stony beach) with an attractive walkway. Parking is provided by two car parks and designated street parking.
Golf
The Costa Blanca is without doubt a golf players paradise. The two courses of Real de Faula/Villaitana Golf are only 10 minutes drive. There are over 10 other 18 hole golf courses in the Costa Blanca, all within a 1 hour drive. Some have been designed by Seve Ballesteros, some regularly play host to Spanish national championships, some are even ranked regularly amongst the top courses in the world. There are a variety of styles and terrains to choose, from stunning coastline to rugged mountains - and levels of difficulty to cater for all standards. Tuition and golf academies will help you fine-tune your swing, whilst plenty of driving ranges and practice greens will build up your confidence before you even set foot on the course. Special interest holidays
Walking routes in Marina Baixa. There are dozens of walking routes within a half hour drive, Circuit of Puig Campana and Sella are 10 mins.

Alicante airport is a 30-40 minutes drive. A car is essential for this property.

Villajoyosa 10 minutes, Benidorm 10 minutes, Alicante 40 minutes, Murcia 90 minutes. Valencia 90 minutes.
Further details
A must is a visit to one of the towns chocolate factories, the largest being Valor. Also Thursday is Market day. The town has a tourist office who can let you know what additional amusements are available at the time of your visit. Villajoyosa has a number of supermarkets and banks for all your requirements. The town offers many Spanish restaurants and we can recommend the lunchtime 'menu del dia' for good value. The seafront offers a mix of cafes, restaurants and bars offering a variety of food styles. Benidorm offers a number of theme parks Mundomar, Terramitica, Aqualandia and Terra Natura.
Booking notes
A deposit of 40% is required to confirm your booking. Eight weeks before arrival the balance is payable together with a breakage and damage deposit of £100 which is refundable after departure. Air-conditioning is charged separately.
