About the area
15 minutes walk. Beautiful sandy beaches. You can walk right along from Benalmadena to Torremolinos, past the beautiful Marina and the old fashioned fishing village of La Carihuela. The promenade extends the full length of this glorious walk.
Mijas Costa very close by with fantastic golf courses. The nearest golf course is the Parador De Golf, Malaga. Further along towards Marbella you can find even more golf courses.
How to get there
Malaga airport 15 minute drive. Hire of a car is not at all necessary. Everything is within easy walking distance. The local buses are fantastic to visit Mijas & Marbella. A car would be a good idea if you intend to visit the beautiful Andalucian cities of Granada, Sevilla, Ronda & Cordoba. Also a good idea if you want to visit Gibraltar. Otherwise go along on a locally arranged tour.
