Welcome to our home, you will enjoy a very comfortable and relaxing stay in a peaceful location. The apartment is set within the owner’s villa which is occupied all year round. It is totally self contained, tastefully appointed accommodation with its own private entrance and parking. Use of a private pool (8x4), outside shower with a large south facing terrace sun loungers and brollies. Sunbathing area and shady nooks can be found for those who want them. There is also a summer kitchen for alfresco dining. It comes complete with fridge, gas hob and barbeque. Magnificent beaches, shops and restaurants are only a 10 minute drive away. The local friendly, typically Spanish villages of Benitachell and Teulada are only 1km away, whilst the cosmopolitan town of Moraira is just 4km drive. The fantastic local golf courses of Javea, La Sella and Ifach offer players some spectacular scenery and testing courses A car is recommended to enable you to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible as are the arrival/departure times,
this should allow you to take advantage of the cheaper midweek flights that are available. Arrival time after 3pm. Departure time 10am unless otherwise arranged.

Notes on accommodation
Gas central heating is available for winter stays. There will be an additional charge of 25 pounds per week for stays from 1st Nov until 31st March inclusive. Please note, There will be "No Smoking" in the apartment or around the Villa.
Outside
Beautiful gardens (light up at night) surround the apartment, large south facing pool terrace with 8 x 4 private pool surrounded on three sides, sunbathing beds, sun umbrellas, outside shower, barbecue, summer kitchen, large stone table and chairs for dining, shady areas with chairs to read.
Coast/Beach
Cosmopolitan Moraira and the famous El Portet Beach, sandy and very sheltered, with quant cafes/restaurant are just a 10 minutes drive away. Cumbra del Sol Beach is stunning, stoney and for those who like an all over tan has an ‘Au Natural’ part. A 15 minute breath taking drive away.
Golf
The magnificent and picture post card setting of Javea Golf course is 1km away (9 holes). La Sella (18 holes) 6km away
Club de Ifach (9 holes) 4km away.
Travel
Alicante and Valancia Airports are both 1 hour drive away from the apartment.
Distances
The quant typically Spanish village of Benitachell is just 1km walk away, it boasts a beautiful church, banks, hairdressers, shops, library and restaurants and a local market on Wednesday where you can buy tasty local produce. Teulada is another very typical Spanish village, with all the convenience of shops and is about 2km drive away. Javea and Moraira are just 4km away and have lots of restaurants, shops, banks and restaurants and have a market on Thursday and Friday respectively.
Further details
The Spanish celebrate all year round with Fiestas and Carnivals in each and every village, the most famous being the Moors and Christains Festival taking place usually the second week in June, a spectacular afair, culminating in the most deafening of firework displays ever seen.
The Spanish locals are very friendly keen to please and appreciate your assistance, so my advise to visitors are to learn a few words and enjoy a very relaxing stay in a part of Spain which is very ‘special’.
Booking notes
A £100 deposit will be required on booking and the balance paid 6 weeks in full before your holiday also a £50 security/damage bond will be taken at the same time and is held until the apartment has been thoroughly checked and then the money will be transfered back into your account.

Gavilan is a very special place, we fell in love with the area and the view's over the golf course to the sea from the pool terrace, the location is very peaceful and yet convenient for the local towns, villages and beaches. It is good for walking, cycling, golfing or just simply chilling out, there is so much to see and do, gardens to visit, bodega's to sample the local wine or sampling the local restaurants where you will always get a very friendly welcome.
Unique benefits of the property
We offer our apartment as a "Little Haven" as it was once described, for lots of R and R, we think once you've been you'll want to come back time and again,! Our apartment is most suited for those who wish to sample the area and stay in comfort and a peaceful setting, we have been told that the apartment is the most well equipped everyone has ever stayed in, but please, don't tell everyone!
