The cortijo is set in a peaceful location, it is 5 mins drive to the small town of Caniles and 15 mins to the bigger town of Baza, both towns have a market day. There is a lovely restaurant on the lake (with menu of the day with a bottle of wine for 7.50 euros). Vear has a water park, the beaches are in Mojaca and Almeria. The Seirra Nevada Mountains are about 1.5 hour’s drive if you would like to ski or snowboard. There are beautiful lakes where you can swim or hire paddle boats. There are thermal baths, bowling and Mini Hollywood where the famous Westerns were filmed, there is also a cave restaurant with its own indoor spa, and underground tunnels for children to play in. If you would prefer something more tranquil then there are beautiful views to paint, horse riding, walking, or just sipping wine by the pool.

Upstairs apartment. Bedroom 1 with a new leather double bed, mirrored wardrobe and bedside table. Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds, pine wardrobe, pine draws and pine bedside tables. Bathroom has a bath with shower over, a sink and wc. Open plan front room with 2 comfy sofas, coffee table, log burner, the dining area has a table and 4 chairs. Kitchen with brand new has gas oven, kettle, toaster, all dishes and pans etc. |

Notes on accommodation
These apartments can be rented together and then would sleep 10.
Accessibility
The pool is fenced in all the way round for safety of children, there are 2 swings in front of the house for children to play on (the pool is shared if both apartments are let to different people). There is a large gravelled area for parking on in front of the house. A a small patio at the front of house where the front door is, the pool is at the front side and is new it measures 8x4m, it has patio table, chairs and loungers around it.
Coast/Beach
The beach in Mojaca is approx an hour's drive, and a hour and a half to Almeria beach, the lakes are about a 30 min drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Granada it is approx 1 hour's drive away. The next nearest is Almeria which is approx 1½ hour's drive away, please ask if wanting any other airport info.
Further details

Booking notes
A payment of £50 pounds is required immediately on booking. The remainder is required 6 weeks before the holiday. There will be a £100 breakage deposit also, which will be refunded on the checking of the property.
