Changeover day
Saturday is the preferred changeover day with access to the apartment from 2pm on the day of arrival and departure by 12 noon. This can be negotiated with the owners.

Outside
The apartment is situated 7 minutes from El Bombo beach. There is an attractive shared pool and separate children's pool surrounded by grass. There is a table, chairs and loungers and BBQ on the balcony.
Coast/Beach
All the beaches along the coast of Costa Del Sol are clean and child friendly. The region has clear blue skies most of the year - making it the perfect holiday resort whatever time of the year. El Bombo, our nearest beach, has gorgeous golden sand and ends in a rocky area ideal for rock pooling, is within easy walking distance. There are boat trips/boats for hire, water sports and activities.
Golf
About 50 golf clubs are within easy reach of the apartment, including the lovely Miraflores which is part of the same urbanisation as the apartment. Discounted tee times are easily arranged by the owners using English speaking contacts. For those bringng their own clubs there is a lift from the underground garage to the apartment door. Other interesting nearby courses include La Cala, Santana, El Chaparell and Cabopino.
Skiing
Sierra Nevada offers perfect skiing conditions and is only 2 hours drive away. It is 3000m above sea level and Europe's most southerly ski resort situated in the stunning National Park which extends from the eastern end of Almeria to the south east of Grenada. Skiing in the summer can be a unique experience with the warm sun on your face and the fantastic landscape of the reserve surrounding you.
Travel
Malaga Airport, 30 minutes drive. Sierra Nevada, 2 hours drive.
Car hire is recommended if you wish to explore the region, although there are plenty of attractions and activities within walking distance. Local car hire firms offer reasonable rates and will arrange delivery of a car to the airport should you wish. There is also good public transport and taxi service.

Further details
Calahonda and La Cala are only 5 minutes drive away and has a good variety of restaurants and bars as well as banks, pharmacies, shops and supermarkets. Benalmadena and Mijas Village are beautiful with lovely restaurants in a beautiful setting. In Fuengirola you will find lively nightlife.
Booking notes
The apartment is no smoking. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure bookings and the balance due 6 weeks prior to the start of your stay unless otherwise arranged. We ask that £100 payment be made when paying the balance to cover potential damages which is returned on departure providing no breakages occur.
