This is a great value family villa in the popular resort of Villamartin. Situated at the entrance to a small private estate it has a double bedroom with private balcony overlooking the pool, gardens and a family room with two single beds. There is a bed-settee in the lounge which easily converts into another double bed if required. Air conditioning is fitted in all the rooms. It’s perfect for children, with a large sun terrace at the front and side of the villa which is fully walled and gated. The terrace is equipped with sun-loungers, umbrellas, a barbecue, tables and chairs and an inflatable children’s splash pool. The large shared swimming pool and gardens are in front of the villa. The Blue Hills plaza with its bars, restaurants, shops and banks is just 5 minutes walk away; the many beaches and resorts of the Costa Blanca are a 10 minute drive. Local Spanish villages and the historic cities of Alicante, Murcia and Cartagena are all within easy driving distance.

Both rooms are light and airy with individual air-conditioning, wardrobes, drawers, bedside tables and reading lamps.
Bathrooms: The modern, luxury bathroom is fully tiled with a full size bath and shower. Chrome and ceramic wash basins with full size mirrors.
Downstairs WC with a bidet and cupboards.
Kitchen: The kitchen has an electric oven with a ceramic hob and extractor hood, a large fridge freezer, a microwave oven, toaster and electric kettle. There is full stock of modern crockery, glasses, cutlery and kitchenware.
Utility Room: Utility equipment includes an automatic washing machine, an iron and ironing board and the rear patio has a retractable clothes line.
Living Rooms: The lounge has a sofa and easy chairs with reading lamps, satellite TV, a DVD player and music centre. There is an open plan dining area next to the kitchen with table and chairs and sideboard. Fully air-conditioned.
Other: The villa has a large shaded balcony on the ground floor facing the gardens, with coffee table and easy chairs, and a very large sun terrace at the side that gets the sun throughout the day. This terrace is walled and gated and is ideal for children.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is in excellent condition. The entrance is at road level with only a few steps to the front door making access very easy. Parking is on the estate driveway directly outside the villa and there is plenty of room for two cars.

Outside
The villa’s large sun terrace is equipped with two sun loungers, 2 recliners, a barbecue, a dining table with sun umbrella and four chairs and an inflatable children’s splash pool. As well as its own balconies and the private sun terrace the villa shares gardens, play areas and two large swimming pools. The nearest pool is only a few yards from the villa. It is 38x15ft and is surrounded by a large paved area for sun-bathing and then by lawns and palm trees. The pool is 4ft deep at the shallow end, with a series of steps down into the water and 7ft deep at the far end and is equipped with a shower. The other pool has a special children’s play area.
The estate is very safe with access and exit via electronic gates. Children playing in the pool or gardens cannot leave the estate or reach the road without keys.

Coast/Beach
Within 10 minutes drive of the villa are the famous sandy beaches of the Costa Blanca. Many display the prestigious Blue Flag which is awarded by the EU for cleanliness and safety. The beaches along the coastline close to Villamartin are Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, and Campoamor. Mar Menor is 20 minutes to the south as is Lo Pagan with its therapeutic mud baths.

Golf
Three excellent Golf Courses are within a few minutes drive from the villa. Villamartin - probably the most famous of the three courses as it hosted the Mediterranean Open in 1994,18 holes, par 72; Las Ramblas - this is a course for low handicappers at Campamor near the sea. 18 holes, par 72; Campoamor - an extensive clubhouse with three restaurants and excellent shop. 18 holes, par 71.

Special interest holidays
There are many activities in the area with a bowling club, tennis, water sports and horse riding all within 10 minutes. The famous salt lakes with their flocks of flamingos are 20 minutes away and inland are traditional mountain villages. The historic cities of Alicante, Murcia and Cartagena are each about 50 minutes drive and there is plenty of shopping in the town of Torrevieja, 15 minutes away

Travel
Nearest international airports: Murcia 35km. Alicante 55km / 45 mins. Car hire is recommended.

Distances
The nearest shops, bars and restaurants are 5 mins walk away in Blue Hills Plaza. Villamartin Plaza with its great mix of restaurants is 5 mins drive. The nearest, and one of the best beaches, La Zenia, is 10 mins drive.
