Casa Mas Anto is nestled amongst the Catalonia countryside, set in its own grounds of 8 acres of olive groves with almond and fig trees. The old traditional Spanish farmhouse has been lovingly restored by its current owners, keeping many of the original features whilst the new extended part of the house provides spacious living and sleeping accommodation. The house boasts a large master bedroom with full en-suite and patio door leading to rear terrace and garden, 2 further double bedrooms and a large family bathroom with corner bath and seperate shower. It also has a fully fitted kitchen, dining room and spacious lounge with patio doors leading to terrace and a feature fire place. Outside is a large terrace area with an outside kitchen, BBQ and covered dinning table. To the rear is a second terrace with veranda, relaxed seating area overlooking the garden and plunge pool.

Changeover day
Changeover days are usually Saturdays with 10am departure and 4pm arrivals, unless other arrangements have been made direct with the owners.

Bathrooms: Full en-suite to master bedroom.
Family bathroom with corner bath and separate shower.
Kitchen: Well equipped fitted kitchen with 8 ring gas range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, ample crockery, cooking utensils and kitchen table with seating. Adjoining separate dining room with rustic style dresser and dinning table.
Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board available.
Living Rooms: Spacious lounge with wood burning fire, L-shaped leather suite, coffee table, 42 inch flat TV screen with DVD/Video player and Satellite television, Hi Fi System.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bedlinen and towels included (except beach towels). The property is cleaned on changeovers unless alternative arrangements are made with the owners. The plunge pool is cleaned/checked on a regular basis and the garden plants are watered.

 

Notes on accommodation
Electricity is provided by a fully automated generator, inverter, battery system and water is provided from a large underground storage tank. Children very welcome (parents are wholly responsible for child safety). We do ask guests to refrain from smoking inside the house. Pets welcome. The owners live nearby on the land and are on hand to assist the guests if required, however they have total respect for the privacy of any staying guests.

Accessibility
The accommodation is all on one level and the land around the house is fairly flat being suitable for wheelchair access.

Outside
Main terrace with outside kitchen, gas BBQ, ring burner and covered dinning table with chairs. Rear terrace with veranda and seating area, sun loungers, other seating, plunge pool in garden.

Coast/Beach
L'Ampolla beach is 20 mins drive being a popular family resort with a beautiful sandy beach, other secluded coves, marina, shops, restaurants, cafes and kids play area. St Carles De La Rapita is 30 mins drive with a large sandy beach, offering a number of water sports. It has a large marina, plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes.

Golf
18 hole pitch 'n putt course with golf school is located near L'Ampolla just 20 mins away. Golf course just 30 mins by car near to Miami Playa.

Skiing
Andorra is approx 4 hours drive.

Travel
We are situated approx 10 mins drive from the motorway/Autopista A7/E15, junction 40. A car is essential. The nearest airports are Reus just 45 mins drive or Barcelona approx 2 hours drive. Both airports are serviced by most of the low cost airlines with a variety of car hire companies. For ferries Bilbao and Santander are approx 6 hours drive away or alternatively ferry crossings to France have very good road connections down to Spain.

Distances
The Large Medieval town of Tortosa is just 20 mins drive away and hosts plenty of festivals during the summer months being a shoppers paradise with the old and new merging. There is also a main hospital to be found in Tortosa. The River Ebro runs through the town which is famous for its carp and cat fishing. Porta Ventura (The Disney theme park) just 40 mins drive away towards Tarragona.

To book please phone or email the owners Karen and Mark to discuss availability. 20% non refundable deposit is payable before we can confirm your booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival. For late bookings full payment is due on arrival. A 200 euro security deposit is payable on arrival which will be refunded on departure once the property has been checked. Any damage or breakages must be repaired or replaced before departure. Welcome pack will be included.
