Terrazas de la Bahia is one step back from the beach, off the CN340 between Estepona and Duquesa. Set on the hillside it has stunning views from the south facing terraces. It is in a small urbanisation with 2 pools and beautiful landscaped gardens. Our duplex is very spacious and airy; it is furnished to a high standard with a fan cooling system and air-conditioning/heating for use when necessary. The closest town is Sabinillas which has a good collection of shops for everyday needs. Estepona (10 minutes) has an extensive beach and lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Terrazas de la Bahia is about 1 hours drive from Malaga and 30 minutes from Gibraltar. Marbella and Puerto Banus are about 25 minutes drive, Casares is about 20 minutes and Ronda 45 minutes. There are numerous golf courses close by, 3 are only 5 minutes away. This is an ideal base for exploring the Costa del Sol, for a golfing holiday or just a place to relax.

Changeover day
Flexible changeover day. The duplex will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. If the duplex is not let before or after your arrival these times may be be varied by arrangement.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 (with king size bed) on first floor has patio doors to a large terrace. Bedroom 2 bedroom (with king size bed) is on the ground floor. Bedroom 3 (on 1st floor) has 2 single beds, it is smaller than 1 and 2 and has patio doors to back terrace |
| Bathrooms: | All bedrooms are en-suite with bath with shower over, basin, wc. The bathrooms serving bedrooms 1 and 2 also have bidet. The bathroom to themaster bedroom has double sinks. |
| Kitchen: | Fully fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. Excellent range of cooking utensils, crockery and glasses. |
| Living Rooms: | Spacious, airy lounge/diner, two 3-seater settees, table and 6 chairs. TV with satellite, DVD, video, CD player, radio, CDs books and games. Two sets of patio doors lead to terrace. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included. Cleaning is provided prior to arrival. Mid term change of linen for lets over 12 days. Mid-term cleaning may be arranged at extra cost. |
Notes on accommodation
Lounge/diner and bedrooms all rooms have ceiling fans. We regret we do not have facilities for babies or very young children. There are steps to the property so it is not suitable for wheelchair access. Please refrain from smoking inside.

Outside
The terrace leading from the lounge/diner is equipped with dining table with 6 chairs and 4 reclining chairs and an electric BBQ. The first floor patio has a large parasol and more reclining chairs. Set in the landscaped gardens, opposite the entrace to our duplex there are two shared pools (one suitable for young children). There is a secure, underground parking space within the complex.
Coast/Beach
Casares beach is 5 minutes walk downhill, here there is a chiringuito where you can get food and drinks and there are wcs and changing facilities. The beach in Estepona (La Rada) is 2.6km and about 10 mins drive, there are a number of chinguitos and underground parking is available. El Cristo beach is a sheltered cove on the way to Estepona. It is very popular, there are 2 chiringuitos. A drive along the CN340 will direct you to various other beaches, many with chinguitos, sun lounger hire etc.
Golf
The Costa del Sol is also known as the Costa del Golf with over 30 golf courses in the area. It is truly a golfers paradise. Estepona Golf, Dona Julia and Finca Cortesin are 5 minutes away. Duquesa Golf is 10 minutes away. We will be pleased to give you details of the courses we have played.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada Mountains are about 2 hours drive.
Travel
Car hire is essential. Malaga airport is about 60 minutes drive, Terrazas is easily found from here using the AP7 (toll road) or CN340. Gibraltar airport is about 30 minutes drive. We will be pleased to assist you with car hire and detailed driving instructions.
Distances
Sabinillas is the closest town - about five minutes drive. Estepona is ten minutes drive. The port of Duquesa is no more than 10 minutes drive and is buzzing with restaurants bars and shops.
Further details
In Sabinillas (about 5 minutes drive), there are many shops for every day needs including 3 supermarkets (the closest being Lidls) and a number of banks. There are also cafes, bars and restaurants. Estepona is about 10 minutes drive, in Estepona you will find numerous shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, many selling the locally caught fish. We also recommend a walk round the old town. Casares (white village) is 20 minutes drive, Ronda (ancient bull ring with museum and Puente Nueve which straddles a 100 m chasm) is about 45 mins drive.
Gibraltar (duty free) is 30 minutes away and offers various tours including those to see the famous Barbary apes. Marbella and Puerto Banus are about 25 minutes drive, here you will find lots of high fashion and designer boutiques. Tarifa is less than an hour away and is just the place for surfing and reef diving. Cadiz, Granada and Seville are further a field but make a good day out, Cadiz (120km), Granada (160km) and Seville (200km). . If you want to try your hand at deep sea fishing or go on a dolphin safari or charter a boat this can be arranged at Estepona Port or Puerto Duquesa. Duquesa Port is about 10 minutes drive. Here too you will find lots of bars, cafes and restaurants and it is one of our favorite places for a drink in the evening and a spot of people watching. Selwo safari park is only about 15 minutes drive and there are water parks at Mijas and Algeciras. If you want to cycle mountain bikes can be hired and if you enjoy walking there are lots of trails to be explored.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% will secure your booking, the balance is payable six weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit will be required at the same time in case of damage, breakages or exceptional cleaning costs that may be deemed necessary. This will be refunded upon your return to the UK Payments must be made in UK pounds either by cheque, bankers draft or direct transfer.
