We regret that these houses are not suitable for those with mobility problems.
Outside
Access to which by wrought iron security gate. The paved stone street is friendly with only 7 other local houses and a white-washed wall overlooking the cliff and fertile green fields below. Sliding glass doors opening onto sun terrace with loungers and garden furniture. Views of Med, local countryside and mountains. Patio with flowers, BBQ, and large wooden table and chairs for alfresco dining.
Coast/Beach
Salobreña beach is just a 15 minute walk from the house, or 5 mins by car.
Golf
Motril Golf Course is 15mins by car. This is a very attractive course set close to Playa Granada. Santa Clara Course which is S.of Granada is 45 mins up the scenic Motril - Granada road, in the plain under Sierra Nevada.
Skiing
The famous Sierra Nevada ski slopes are 1hr away and open till May (weather permitting).
Travel
Málaga airport is approx 1h15 by car and Granada airport is 1hour by car. There are regular buses to Málaga and Granada.

About the owner
I built Las Palmeras 6years ago and chose the site for its incredible views, its Western orientation and sunny disposition and its local and historic placing. It´s placed in a quiet pedestrian street with well established local families and a neighbourhood car-parking at entrance to street. The blue Med, the green Vega and mountains are seen from front and the Rock and centuries-old castle from rear. Part of the street is flower-arched and we enjoy a small municipal plant garden too.
Scenery and treking are 2 of my passions and so this for me is paradise. I am fluent in sp. and have lived in Seville, Madrid and the North ( even walked 4days of the Santiago Camino) but know nowhere so beautiful as the Granada province. The Salobreña people are very tolerant of foreigners.
