Changeover day
Arrivals from 3.00 pm and departure by 10.00 am.
Changeover days tend to be Saturday if you are staying for a week. Otherwise we are available for short stays too.

Living Rooms: Open plan lounge/diner, 2 seater sofa and 3 seater sofabed, TV & DVD player. Dining table seats 6 comfortably.
Other: West facing balcony with table and chairs and large roof terrace with seating and sun loungers.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included however beach/pool towels are not. If staying 2 weeks a mid stay cleaning will take place free of charge. A midweek change of linen and towels is possible but there will be a charge for this.

Outside
There is a private path that leads to a communal pool for Block 2. This has a separate toddler pool and a main pool. There are full shower and toilet block facilities at this pool.
Casares Del Sol is quiet and is located close to other upscale developments, one being the 5- star Finca Cortesin with its highly rated golf course and La Menorah restaurant.
There is a another golf course, with full clubhouse, bar & restaurant facilities, 5 mins walk away.

Coast/Beach
'Casares del Sol is located in the heart of the historical region of Andalucia which enjoys 300 days of sunshine each year and has a wonderfully mild climate even during the winter. This makes the region a year round destination ideal for every type of holiday.
This part of Spain boasts beautiful mountains dotted with traditional white villages, lakes and of course, the beaches. The nearest beach is only a short walk away (about 900m).

Golf
Quality golfing is in abundance including the famous Sotogrande, San Roque and Valderrama courses within a short drive. You may prefer to take advantage of the newly-constructed nine- and 18-hole golf course "on the doorstep" to the west and north of this development.

Special interest holidays
There are 5 good golf courses within 5 mins drive and if you enjoy history and sightseeing you won't be disappointed: Gibraltar, Jerez, Cadiz, Seville, Casares white village and Ronda are easily accessible.
Couples & families will love: Tivoli World at Benalmandena, great place with rides and shows for all ages. The cable car at Benalmandena, fantastic scenery and exhibitions at the top, Crocodile Park at Torremolinos - great morning or afternoon trip, Water Parks at Algecerias and Mijas and Ronda by train: breathtaking views.

Travel
Malaga Airport is 40 mins drive away a car is highly recommended and can be hired from the airport.
Gibraltar airport is 20 minutes away again a car is highly recommended. If you decide not to hire a car take a taxi from Malaga and also Gibraltar.

Distances
La Duquesa with a picturesque marina surrounded by bars and restaurants in only a 5 mins drive away and Sabinillas is 2 mins in car, or a 20 min walk along the beach and promenade. Casares region and its coastal town Sabinillas, lies about 6km west of Estepona and 10km east of Sotogrande on the CN 340. It is half-way between Marbella and Gibraltar.

Further details
Sabinillas has a good collection of shops for everyday needs (including 3 supermarkets). High fashion and designer boutiques abound in Puerto Banus and Marbella (25/30 mins). Open-air markets are extremely popular, most mornings. The best of them: Puerto Banus (Saturday): Sabinillas (Sunday morning): Estepona (Wednesday). Leisure Activities: The hanging village of Casares, perched on the side of a mountain, is a 20 mins drive away and shouldn't be missed. There are plenty of other places to visit, and for a days outing drive to the magnificent ancient city of Ronda about a 45 mins away plus the historic towns of Cadiz, Granada and Seville. The rock of Gibraltar can be reached within 30 mins, (a great day out with its duty free shopping)! Driving south towards the Atlantic coast there is Tarifa, a surfers' paradise and only 50 mins away. From here you can take the ferry to Morocco, a 45 mins crossing. For children there are the superb water parks at Mijas and Algerciras, the Tivoli Gardens at Benalmadena, the Selwo Safari park at nearby Estepona and the Funny Beach towards Fuengirola.

Booking notes
A non-refundable booking fee of £150 is to be paid on booking. The balance should be paid 6 weeks before departure together with a security deposit of £150 for any breakages which will be returned to you within 14 days of departure upon release of keys and the apartment is checked by our management team.
