This brand new two bedroom garden apartment is on the Roda Golf and Beach resort, a fantastic gated golf and leisure development. The golf course is a 72 par 18 hole course, designed by Dave Thomas and is rapidly becoming one of the ‘must play’ courses in the area. The apartment itself is luxuriously finished, with marble flooring throughout, air conditioning for the summer and heating for the cooler months. The apartment can accommodate 4/5 people and a baby in well furnished surroundings. Outside the apartment is a large terrace with outdoor dining and lounging furniture which overlooks the communal gardens and beautiful pool. The Roda resort is only 1.5km from the Mar Menor, a salt water lagoon with shallow warm waters. On the other side of the lagoon is the Mediterranean, with long beaches. Roda has its own private beach resort on the Med, which guests are able to use in high season. The Costa Calida, or warm coast, is in the Murcia region, now serviced by many Lo-Cost airlines.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Discounts available for lettings longer than 2 weeks and repeat bookings. Changeover day
Changeover dates are flexible, please email us with your requirements. Subject to other bookings, we can also be flexible as to time of arrival and departure.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a large double bed and an en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds, which can be put together.
Both bedrooms have plenty of storage, good quality mattresses and pure cotton sheets to make your stay comfortable.
Bathrooms: En-suite to bedroom 1 has bath with shower over.
Marble floors and walls with storage space.
There is also a second shower room, also marble throughout.
Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. The kitchen accessories, crockery and cookware are of good quality to ensure you have everything you need for a great holiday.
Utility Room: Washing machine and clothes airer in the apartment, as well as an iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: Living room/dining room is tastefully furnished with a large sofa, 32' flat screen TV with UK channels. DVD player with radio, CD player and MP3 port. Large selection of DVDs including lots of kids DVD's for siesta time! Dining room area with 4 chairs.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All bedding and towels (other than beach towels) are included. The apartment will be cleaned pre-visit and extra cleaning can be arranged if you are staying longer. Local cleaning charge of 60 euros payable at the end of your stay.

The apartment has air-conditioning throughout and ceiling fan in the dining/living room. In addition it has heating for the cooler months. A cot and highchair available on request.

Accessibility
Garden floor apartment with a sloped path to the front door. The apartment all on one level with easy access to terrace, but steps down to pool.

Outside
Own front door and parking space. The apartment has a large terrace with dining furniture for 4 and loungers. The terrace overlooks the shared communal gardens and pool and is shaded in the morning, catching the afternoon sun.

Coast/Beach
Roda is 5 minutes drive from the Mar Menor, a salt water lagoon separated from the Mediterranean by the La Manga strip. The beaches along the Mar Menor are sandy and flat, with the Mar Menor being shallow, perfect for water sports including sailing, diving, snorkeling and swimming. Behind the beaches is a promenade with lots of beach shacks for snacks and drinks throughout the day. This area has for some time been popular with the Spanish themselves and has lots of lovely local restaurants.

Golf
Roda Golf and Beach Resort is based on a par 72, 18 hole golf course, designed by Dave Thomas, one of the most prestigious European golf course designers. The course incorporates Mediterranean landscapes, lakes and vegetation, all within walking distance of the apartment. Our guests will benefit from discount on green fees. On-site is the first European PGA academy with latest training facilities for all ages and abilities. The resort is close to other famous golf courses, including the famous La Manga Resort. The Club house on site has a first class restaurant where you can eat throughout the day, from breakfast, tapas or lovely evening meals from a 'show' kitchen. Lovely evenings can just be spent soaking up the atmosphere with a drink overlooking the beautiful green course.

Travel
The resort is 1 hour from Alicante airport and about 10 minutes from Murcia, San Javier airport. Both airports are served by lo-cost airlines. We can usually offer flexibility on arrival and departure dates to accommodate flight deals. Airlines flying into Murcia include Ryanair, BMI baby, EasyJet and Monarch.

Distances
Nearest supermarket 1km. Los Alcazares and Los Narejos 1km.
Bars and restaurants 1.5km. Golf club house and restaurant on-site. Murcia the unexploited capital city of the area is about 50km or 50 minutes away. Murcia has just opened a new shopping mall with over 200 shops and a water park. Cartegena, a historic port from before Roman times is 20km and is a lively port with boat trips available around the port and a great shopping area, both old streets and modern shopping malls.

Further details
The nearest town is Los Alcazares, with supermarkets, shops, banks, bars and restaurants to cater for those looking for authentic Spanish atmosphere or some English type bars. Further afield are the cities of Cartegena and Murcia, both of which are relatively unexplored treasures. The nearest supermarket is about a 5 minute drive from the apartment. All sorts of water sports are available at the Mar Menor, including scuba diving, kayaking, snorkling and yachting.It is possible to charter a boat to take you out for a totally relaxing day out. Horse riding is also available in the area. Please email us with any other activities you might be interested in.
The clubhouse at Roda is a beautiful modern building in the centre of the course, with bar and restaurant facilities overlooking the course and resort as well as a golf shop selling the usual wide variety of clubs, equipment and clothing.
During high season of July and August, Roda visitors also have the opportunity of using the Beach Club. This stunning recently renovated building which once featured in a James Bond film and is on the Mediterranean side of the La Manga Strip. A truely lovely relaxing day out can be had with stunning pool, restaurant and bar meals available.

Booking notes
20% deposit payable on booking plus £100 security deposit. The security deposit will be returned to you, less the cost of any breakages, after the property has been checked following your departure. Payment in full must be made 4 weeks prior to departure. ( However, last minute bookings can be made with special arrangements available for payment, please call us ).
