Club Sierra is a very discreet community built in the 'white village' style, located on Marbella's Golden Mile. It has been very cleverly designed to provide a very spacious panoramic pool that captures the sun all-day long. Being slightly elevated it has views down to the sea and catches the refreshing Summer breeze. It makes the ideal holiday destination. The lush tropical gardens are well established. Streams, ponds and waterfalls with their fish, terrapins and frogs are a distinctive feature. Everyone who comes to Club Sierra falls in love with it. We have our own 'underwater' Wi-Fi bar that serves breakfast, lunch and drinks throughout the day where you can sit in the shade and watch the swimmers. This light, spacious (100 sq.m), ground level apartment with marble floors throughout in the local style, has a west facing sun terrace and garden looking out at the tropical gardens, ideal for a barbecue or alfresco dining.

Changeover day
We're flexible. Travel mid-week and spend what you save on fares on a pair of Jimmy Choos. Normally in after 2pm and out by 10am but we'll accommodate your travel plans if we can and there is always somewhere to leave your bags.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with a double bed and bathroom en-suite. Bedroom 2 with twin beds and its own bathroom. Both rooms are simply furnished and have ample wardrobes. |
| Bathrooms: | 2 identical bathrooms. Each have twin basins set in a marble top, wall length mirrors, wc, bidet and bath with a powerful shower. Separate bathrooms are a luxury on holiday - don't accept anything else. |
| Kitchen: | Spacious kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and more utensils, crockery and cutlery than you will ever use. |
| Living Rooms: | The large lounge/diner has a circular dining table that seats 6, sofas for 5, and there is a fireplace we have never used as we mainly live outside. There is cable TV, DVD, CD player and a selection of books, films, games and CD to amuse you. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. Please bring your own beach/pool towels. Additional linen and cleaning can be provided for an additional payment, paid locally. |
Notes on accommodation
Club Sierra is very child friendly. There is a separate children's pool and in the summer a lifeguard is on duty for much of the day. The pool is in the very centre of the development and the entrances are guarded by electronic gates with an answerphone system. The Cave Bar has a children's menu and can always serve food that children will enjoy. Further afield, the Spanish like children. They take them with them wherever and whenever they go. All of the restaurants welcome children who often become the centre of attention. Don't be surprised to keep tripping over them down at the port long after 'Cinderella should have left the ball'.

Accessibility
Unfortunately Club Sierra is built on a hill and is unsuitable for anyone in a wheelchair or who cannot manage steps.
Outside
The grounds and pool are what makes Club Sierra so special. The apartment is surrounded by mature tropical gardens featuring lawns, shrubs, palms and flowers and you are never far from the sound of water. The small waterfalls, streams and ponds all have a selection of fish, frogs and terrapins in them. There are 2 pools situated right in the centre of Club Sierra - the large pool is 100sq.m and the splash pool is primarily for young children. Both pools are surrounded by a huge terrace with ample sunbeds and umbrellas which catch the sun from dawn until dusk. Underneath the pool is our bar/restaurant where you can sit in the shade and watch people swimming in the pool.
The apartment terrace is large enough for 6 people to dine comfortably and has a BBQ and sun loungers for people who like to lie out in greater privacy. The garden provides additional privacy and shade.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Puerto Banus is 2-3km away. Turn left and you walk along the Golden Mile to Marbella. Turn right to San Pedro and beyond. There is something for everyone. Glamorous beach clubs like Nikki Beach. Chiringuitos where you can eat fresh fish for lunch with your feet in the sand. Loungers and umbrellas for hire. And deserted beaches where you can indulge in 'skinny dipping'.
Golf
Club Sierra sits at the entrance to Golf Valley. You can walk from the apartment to the Marbella Golf School (driving range) and the nearest golf course or you can tee off at a different course everyday. Los Naranjos is just up the hill and Aloha is down the other side. La Quinta is a bit further on and if you keep going you will come to Valderama. If your handicap is low enough you might even bump into Ballesteros or Garcia. However, the courses can get busy and in the height of Summer it is advisable to avoid the hottest part of the day. We advise booking in advance. You can do this on the internet where a number of packages are available or we can arrange this for you, you decide.
Travel
Club Sierra is about 45km from Malaga airport and very easy to find off the N340 just before you arrive at Puerto Banus. It sits on Marbella's Golden Mile, in the foothills of the La Concha mountain, 2km from the beach on the road to Istan. People are believed to live longer in Istan than anywhere else in Spain because they drink the spring water that runs through the village. Manolo Santana's exclusive tennis club is literally across the road.
Distances
Having your own car will enable you to explore the region. Ronda (the Gorge and bullring), Nerja (caves), Granada (the Alhambra), Tarifa and Gibralter are all within an easy day's drive. Seville and Cadiz a little further. Morocco makes a great day trip.
Further details
The market at the bullring on Saturday morning is an event that attracts 'le tous Marbella' and not to be missed. In the Summer there is horse racing in the evening up the road at Mijas. If you enjoy sailing we can arrange for a friend to take you out for a fraction of thew cost of chartering your own boat - a pods of dolphins swam with us in the boat only yesterday.
Booking notes
We keep it simple. £100 non-refundable deposit secures your booking. 4 weeks before you are due to arrive the remainder of the fee is due. You will be met at the apartment and given the keys. No security deposit, we trust you. Use what you find, replace in kind. If you do break something please tell us and leave some money to fix it. We don't expect people to pay for wear and tear.
