Villa Flamingo Beach is a private 5* exclusive idyllic villa at the end of the La Manga strip, with its own private gardens and pool, stunning views overlooking the Mar Menor, and the Mediterranean seas and a short walk to Venecolia Golf Course. The villa overlooks a scenic nature reserve where Flamingos come from Africa in the winter to the lakes where they regain their beautiful pink colour before returning hence 'Villa Flamingo Beach'. The seas are only 2 minutes walk away. The Mar Menor is warm, safe and excellent for water sports (sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, kite boarding, and scuba diving). The Med for good swimmers. Tomas Maestre marina a few minutes away where you can find a variety of restaurants and shops, and there are also organised boat tours. The famous La Manga Club only a few miles away (3 golf courses, 28 tennis courts, football centre, night club, casino, restaurants and shops The historic cities of Cartegena, Alicante, Lorca and Murcia are not far away.

All bathrooms are tiled and has a marble finish to a very high standard.

Kitchen:
The attractive modern kitchen fully equipped with hob, oven, cooker hood, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee maker food mixer fridge/freezers. (Well equipped for all your needs).

Utility Room:
Separate utility room with washing machine, sink, large hot water tanks. Ironing facilities.

Living Rooms:
Tastefully decorated lounge overlooking the pool also has built in log burning fire, English European and Spanish satellite TV, DVD & CD player. Air-conditioned/heated for all seasons. Bright and spacious

Other:
Dinning room -separate dining area to accommodate 6 people. (tastefully furnished).

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
A cleaning/laundry charge of €100 is payable on arrival to the Agent. The property is cleaned before arrival and on departure. All linen is provided except beach towels and will be changed on a weekly basis. Welcome pack can be provided as required.

Accessibility
The villa is suitable for all ages. Children are welcome - baby facilities - cot, high chair, baby safety gates available on request at extra charge. Our excellent agent is based locally, and will assist you promptly with any accommodation issue. The access to the pool is by tiled steps safe for children and elderly and the deserving swimmer. The depth is graduated the deepest area 6 foot plus. There is also a temperature gauge to make sure the water temperature is perfect for your swim.

Outside
Large, private garden and private pool, (24 x 12ft wide). At night the subtle and attractive pool lights can be turned on. The gardens are pleasantly designed with tropical plants to create a private and peaceful setting and lights up at night with solar powered lights. There is ample garden furniture and lounge beds, large umbrella and a permanent brick barbecue adjacent to pool area. There are 3 terraces -one roof terrace with 360 degrees panoramic views over the seas and two patio/veranda on the ground floor. One large facing the pool great for entertaining, and the other facing the kitchen great for early morning breakfast (both with furniture). Off street parking is available. There is lots of lighting outside the villa which makes it very welcoming in the evenings.

Important notes on accommodation

Property is fully alarmed with underfloor heating, fireplace and air-conditioning. The master bed room and en-suite are located upstairs via marble stairs and is the only accommodation on that floor opening on a large terrace with beautiful sea views. All other rooms are on ground level. The villa is very private and set in a very peaceful idyllic location, 2 minutes walk to the beach. Our excellent agent is based locally and will assist you promptly with any accommodation issues. They will meet you at the villa, to ensure that you are happy with everything in the villa, to give your holiday a really good start. We request that guests do not smoke inside the villa. As the villa has both air-conditioning and heating units it is suitable for both summer and winter months as in the winter months the temperature is an average 50-60 degrees F . It is very spacious and has been decorated to a very high standard.

Coast/Beach
In Venecolia/La Manga you will be spoilt for beaches 2 minutes walking distance to beach from the villa - choice of beaches: Mar Menor and Mediterranean. The Mar Menor lagoon provides sandy beaches with safe water, and water sports. On the other side is the Mediterranean with many beaches all beaches are public, and never over crowded. Over 50km of beaches and many places offer water sports on the Mar Menor including kite surfing, sailing, fishing, jet skiing.

Golf
Short 5 minute walk to Venecolia Golf Course, a 9 hole, par 3 golf course. The famous La Manga Club is a 30 minute drive away - with a choice of three superb, 18-hole championship courses, each with its own unique style and terrain, but all offering tranquil surroundings and many outstanding views, there is something to challenge golfers. For those who dream of playing golf on beautiful, top quality courses in an ideal, year-round climate. Several other golf courses within 30-40 minutes drive, including Roda, Hacienda del Alamo, Campomor, Villamartin and Polaris World.

How to get there
The nearest Airport is San Javier 40 minutes away but many more flights come into Alicante airport – this is about one and a half hours drive along an excellent auto route. Car hire from the airports and for the enjoyment of your stay is recommended, but taxis can be arranged by our agent. Bicycle hire is available locally.

Distances
The Veneziola area is an idyllic area at the end of the La Manga peninsula which is unique there are a few restaurants and shops, and it is about 4 miles to the yacht harbour Tomas Maestre where you can also find a variety of restaurants, shops and wine bars. There are a number of typical Spanish surrounding villages where frequent festivals take place. There is the fishing Port of Cabo De Palos which is renown for some of the best fish restaurants in the region.

About the Owner

Having retired a few years ago, we have had the opportunity to travel extensively and we saw this villa when we visited La Manga, we immediately fell in love with it, and we could not resist buying it. It has the right balance of tranquillity & comfort for our family yet only minutes away from the “hustle and bustle” of the holidaymakers on the La Manga strip. This is truly a 'home away from home' for us we take pride in making sure that it is maintained well equipped and decorated tastefully - I love the climate, the people & the lifestyle.

Why this location?

Although I live in the UK, my family originates from the Caribbean. I was instantly drawn to La Manga as the la Manga Strip reminded me of Jamaica with the lovely beaches & it's laid back culture.The La Manga peninsula / strip is 12 kilometres long and is unique as its the only place in Spain that has 2 seas - the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. -The villa is located at the end of the La Manga strip separated by a historical bridge with fantastic sea views and overlooks a scenic nature reserve where Flamingos come from Africa in the winter to the lakes where they regain their beautiful pink colour before returning . An ideal holiday home for the discerning traveller, far from the noisy tourist spots looking for peace, serenity and independence without compromising.

What are the unique benefits of the property?

The villa is very private and set in a very peaceful idyllic location, 2 minutes walk to the beach. There are a number of typical Spanish surrounding villages where frequent festivals take place.
