Tarifa is a small, typical Andalucin village, with a medieval walled town centre, located at the most Southern point of Spain. Great restaurants, bars, shops and lively nightlife. There is so much to do in Tarifa, water sports are exceptional, swimming, surfing, diving, beach-fishing and famously windsurfing and kitesurfing. All this just outside the door. There is room for everything along the miles of unspoilt white beach. If you are not so active there is endless great value eating and drinking to be done! Other attractions include Morocco (day visit), nearby golf courses and whale/dolphin watching trips.

Costa de la Luz has some of the longest and widest, white-sand beaches in Spain. Both the beach and the city centre are within walking distance of the flat.

The coast is made up of a wide diversity of landscapes and a number of genuine Spanish villages (Ronda, Arcos, Vejer, Jerez) where you can enjoy the exceptional gastronomy as well as a variety of outdoor activities, including golf, whale watching, kite surfing, windsurfing, mountain bike, sailing or horse-riding.
Tarifa is 0.5 hour boat ride from Morocco (the rocky coast of Africa is clearly visible from Tarifa) a day visit to Tangiers and its famous markets is wonderfully easy. Tarifa is also surrounded by National Parks for walking, cycling, horse-riding and rock climbing, or visits to the famous white villages. Dolphin and whale watching trips also exist and golf courses are nearby along the coast.
Travel
4 possible airports - Gibraltar (40 minute drive), Jerez (1.25 hours), Malaga (1.5 hours) and Seville (2hours). Car hire is not essential but advisable for visits to white villages and nearby Roman ruins.
