A rural retreat. Orgiva 5 minutes drive, 15 minutes stroll. Bars, restaurants, health food shops, supermarkets. Nearby charming mountain villages. Beach 30 minutes, Granada 45 minutes. Ideal for 2 families or group of friends. (Includes cot, highchair, pushchair etc).

Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is Saturday.

Bath towels and linen are provided. No pool towels. Guests staying longer than 1 week are asked to change bed linen. Property cleaned before and after guests. |
Notes on accommodation
There are electric fans and electric radiators in every room. Villa very suited to children with pushchair, highchair and cot provided - plus toys. Garden is mostly laid to lawn and is flat and completely enclosed with high wall. There is also a swing.

Accessibility
Reasonably suitable for people with mobility problems. One step into property. Very large, tiled hall and rooms - all on one level - and 2 small steps out into courtyard/garden.
Outside
Large shaded courtyard which opens out onto third of an acre of grass with many trees. Included are hammock, sun loungers, child's swing, several outdoor tables and chairs, lower terrace, completely secluded. Pool is large and able to be lit. It is totally private.
Coast/Beach
From the villa it is a 30 minute drive to the nearest beaches, Salobrena and Motril.
Golf
There are a couple of very good golf courses, one by the sea and one in the mountains, within 35 minutes drive of the villa.
Travel
Granada Airport is around 45 minutes away. Malaga Airport is around 1 hour and 3/4 away. Mercia Airport is around 2 hours away away.
Distances
Orgiva is 5 minutes by car. Granada is 45 minutes (The Alhambra). The local picturesque mountain villages (catering for tourists) around 30 minutes up the mountain. Tibetan monastery up in the mountains, around 40 minutes. Beaches around 30 minutes. Lanjaron local spa town and castle, about 20 minutes.
Further details
Local town of Orgiva very friendly, lots of bars and restaurants have opened up in last couple of years. 2 health food shops. Covered market and weekly market selling fruit and vegetables, as well as crafts, jewellery etc. Banks and cash points easily available and several supermarkets and local bakeries.
Walking and horse riding are both really popular activities in the local Alpujarras mountains, including organised trips.
Booking notes
There is a 50% deposit payable immediately to secure the booking. Remaining amount due 1 month before departure. There is a breakages fee of £100 to be paid together with the final instalment.
