This ground floor luxury villa, overlooking the beach, in the heart of Empuriabrava has a private pool for the exclusive use of the guests, spacious terraces with sun beds, BBQ and dining furniture, refurbished interior with new kitchen and bathroom. In a superb location a few minutes walk from all of the amenities in the resort. It has all of the home comforts you could wish for including English Sky TV. It is ideal for a family holiday (the resort is not suitable for groups of single people looking for evening entertainment) and ideally based to explore the lovely area in and around Empuriabrava. Car hire is not necessary and airport transfers can be arranged if required. The terrace is south facing and receives the sun from morning until early evening, shade can be found under the sun umbrella and covered terrace. The bedrooms have air-conditioning.

Notes on accommodation
The bedrooms have air-conditioning which can also be used in the winter months for heating. The lounge has a ceiling fan. Additional heaters are provided for chilly nights in the winter.
The house is fabulous for children and the elderly, after the few steps leading up to the front door it is all on one level inside, leading straight out on the same level to the terrace and pool. Outside there are a few steps leading down to the lover terrace. Please note however that the pool is not fenced off and has open railings at the side next to the lower terrace. Baby package includes: travel cot with insect net, high chair, baby bath, bouncing cradle, microwave sterilising unit, changing mat, baby listening device, nightlight. Toddler package includes: travel cot or bed guard, high chair, baby bath, listening device, nightlight, changing mat, safety gate, potty, toys and DVDs.

Accessibility
The house is not adapted for wheelchairs, the bedroom doors are too narrow. There are a few steps leading up to the front door. Once inside everything is on one level with just a small lip at the terrace door leading out to the pool area.

Outside
There are extensive terraces with private pool (8m x 4m). Sun beds, outdoor settees and chairs, dining furniture and luxury 4 burner BBQ. The terrace is sunny throughout the day until early evening. Outside terrace lights provide the perfect setting for an evening BBQ.

Coast/Beach
The long sandy beach is just 50 metres from the villa and has a range of water sports available in the high season.

Golf
There are several golf courses in the area, the nearest just 20 minutes drive to Perelada.

Special interest holidays
Empuriabrava is home to a small Skydiving centre, tandem skydives are available (no experience required) and tuition for personal sky diving is also available. Sea diving centres with courses to suit all abilities are available in the resort.

Travel
Gerona airport (40 mins) is the most convenient with Ryanair providing flights from many UK and European airports.
Perpignon (1 hour) is the next nearest.
Barcelona airport is approx 2 hours drive.
It is approx 12 hours driving time from Calais, less from Le Havre, Caen etc.
Figueres train station is 20 minutes drive and is on the main Barcelona - France line.
Car hire is not necessary, transfer can be arranged if required.

Distances
Situated in the Bay of Roses, within 30 minutes drive of many small towns and resorts including L'Escala, Estartit, Figueres - home of the Dali Museum, Cadaques.

Further details
Large supermarket a few minutes walk away with bakery, fresh fish, meat. Supermarket open 8am till 9pm Monday to Saturday, 8am till 1pm Sundays. Local shops close between 1pm and 4pm. Several banks within walking distance with cash machines. A variety of restaurants for all budgets within walking distance. Leisure centre with winter indoor swimming pool, squash courts etc. 5 minute walk. Tennis centre, Skydiving centre, a few minutes drive.

Booking notes
25% deposit required at time of booking. Balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival date. A damage deposit of £300 is required with the balance payment. It is fully refundable if the villa is left as it is found on arrival with no damage or breakages etc.

Accommodation was top notch and in a great location.

Couldn't believe how spacious the terraces were and super pool, it was lovely to have enough crockery especially plastic glasses etc for the pool area. BBQ out of this world - I want one at home.
