These are 2 of the famous 'white villages' in The Alpujarras. There are beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada and many well-walked paths for walks through the countryside.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday to Saturday, but we are flexible for availability during mid week. Guests should vacate before 11am and arrive after 4pm.

Notes on accommodation
The apartments are cleaned regularly and linen and towels are provided. Both apartments have very comfortable and cosy living rooms with beautiful views of the mountain and gardens. There is a wood-burner in one of the living rooms and central heating in the other for the colder months during winter months.

The property is set within beautiful well kept garden with fruit trees and flower beds, and both apartments are adjacent to the shared swimming pool. The country location offers peace and tranquility, yet is within 5 minutes walk from Bubion and 15 minutes walk from Capileira. Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Salobrena which is about an hour away with plenty of seafood restaurants.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada Ski resort near Granada is about 1.5 hours away.
Special interest holidays
The villages of Bubion and Capileira are well positioned for spectacular walks and bird watching. There are numerous organisations locally offering activity and creative holidays such as painting holiday, walking, horse riding, yoga, mountain biking etc.
Travel
Granada Airport is 1.5 and Malaga Airport 2.5 hours away. A rental car is recommended to explore the area, but there are daily buses from and to Bubion to.
Further details
Bubion is one of the most beautiful of the 3 white villages of Las Alpujarras of Granada. Next to its 16th Century church stand the remains of an Arab fortified tower. Though tranquil and off the tourist bus route, the villages of Bubion and Capileira boast some of the best restaurants and bars of the region and excellent shopping for local handicrafts and local produce. The Sierra Nevada Ski slopes are about 2.5 hours drive away. Granada City and Alhambra are well worth a visit.
