Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 and 2 both offer either twin singles or a king size bed whichever you prefer, with phone.
Bedroom 1 has French doors which open onto their own Juliet balcony.
Bedroom 2 has a window opening on to an inner courtyard with views onto the course.
Bathrooms: The bathroom offers a bath with shower over, basin and toilet.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster and kettle.
Utility Room: The utility room houses the washing machine and is great for storing items.
Living Rooms: The lounge includes a L-shaped cream leather sofa and tub chair, there is a 32" flat screen TV, DVD with the latest DVDs, stereo and English TV, you can also access the internet. There is a dining table and chairs which offer plenty of space and comfort.
Other: The large wrap around terrace has both shade and sun - a welcome relief when it is 35 degrees - with outdoor dining for 6. The views are stunning and are 240 degrees. There are sunloungers which are light weight so can be used by the pool, and a gas BBQ.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment offers air-conditioning in the lounge and fans in each bedroom. Our keyholder will meet you and familiarise you with the apartment. He is available at any time to help with questions and advice about the resort. We also provide a welcome pack on your arrival. The underground car park provides secure parking and keeps your car delightfully cool. The apartment is serviced by a lift direct from the underground car park to this penthouse.

Accessibility
The lift offers access to all floors. Please be aware that this is a penthouse apartment and caution must be taken at all times whilst on the terrace with young children.

Outside
The terrace is a very large space, which enjoys fantastic views of the mountains, pool and front line golf. There is furniture for outside dining and relaxing in the shaded areas or out in the sun. There are 20 communal pools nearby, one of the best is directly below the apartment which includes the only jacuzzi on the resort, they re all very spacious. Sea views can be seen throughout the resort and golf course. A beautiful old hacienda town centre recently modenised, with shops, restaurants, bars and golf pro shop.

Coast/Beach
The Mar Menor is a large sea water lagoon which is one of the cleanest, safest, warmest waters in the Med.
The region benefits from an average temp of 21c and 320 days of sunshine a year which. It is said to be a mini micro climate and highly recommended for anyone suffering with joint pains, due to the dry climate.

Murcia City is the capital of this region, it is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city only 20 minutes drive from Hacienda Riquelme, its main sights are its cathedral and architecture.

Golf
The apartment is located in the Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort which is the fourth of the courses to be opened in the Nicklaus Golf Trail, the others being, Mar Menor, La Torre and El Valle. HRGR is one of the best. For golfing offers please visit www.nicklausgolftrail.es. In addition, Polaris offer a variety of special offers (typically a round of golf, followed by a meal which can also represent good value for money). There is a shuttle bus running between each Polaris Resort but there are also many other courses nearby (further details can be found in the apartment) including the Seve Balesteros designed course, Peraleja, next door.

Special interest holidays
If your a keen hiker or just enjoy a great walk than there's plenty for you to see and do. Cycling is also a big sport in Spain and there are several long or short rides to take in the scenery and a great tapas bar if required. Watersports are also a big thing down by the Mar Menor, from sailing to diving.

Travel
Getting to the penthouse couldn't be easier, there are several low cost airlines that offer supper discounts. Flying into Murcia San Javier Airport is only 15 minutes drive from the penthouse and Alicante airport is under an hours drive.

Distances
Sucina village is only 3 minutes drive away and offers all amenities. Balsicas is 8 km away and has the nearest train station for trips to Murcia town and Cartagena port. Hopefully the train will soon stop right out Hacienda Riquelme for pick up and drop offs, making it even easier to get about for the day.

Hacienda Riquelme is situated about 15 minutes drive from the coast, with the magnificent back drop of the Murcia mountain region. It is the most tranquil and lowest density of all the Polaris world resorts, giving you a feeling of space. The 18 hole par 72 golf course, which forms part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail, offers Europe’s best golf all in one convenient location. Whilst staying at the resort you will have access to the Mar Menor, La Torre and El Valle resort facilities and golf courses. Hacienda Riquelme has at present a large supermarket cafe/bar, golf shop and tennis court all for your convenience whilst the town centre is under construction and hoping to be ready by summer 2010. There are several communal pools you can relax by all conveniently positioned, giving you full advantage to enjoy the sun, golf and relaxation. You can play tennis and padel ball on the courts provided and there is also a multi sports area. There is a complimentary coach up and running that will take you to the other resorts, La Torra being only 10 minutes away whose facilities include a supermarket, bars, several restaurants spas, beauty salon, club house and soon to be a five start hotel as on Mar Menor. Please ask on enquiry for a full update on resort facilities available.

Booking notes
I have 2 penthouses opposite each other so if availability shows unknown it means there is 1 available. We accept payment by cheque. We also need a separate cheque of £250 security deposit which will be refunded within 10 days of departure after an inventory. We require a £75 deposit to secure your booking, and the balance is payable in full 6 weeks before your holiday. In addition to the apartment rate, please leave 55-70 euros in the apartment prior to departure for the cleaning, laundry.

Hi, My husband and I live in England with our two young children. We purchased our two penthouses off plan, and have watched them evolve over the years. We visit the apartment regularly throughout the year, especially with the children in the summer.

The apartment has a home from home feel and has all the comfort and luxury you would require, additionally it also has stunning views, beauty and a great atmosphere within the resort. With the newly opened paddle and tennis courts and multi sports centre, adding to the existing outdoor gym, running track and great play areas for kids, you'll never be bored!

Apart from being one of the largest apartments with some of the best views, giving a feeling of space and light, our property gets to witness some fantastic golf and sunsets, whilst watching the kids below in the pool. This apartment has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard, but not forgetting comfort and luxury too.
