The development is just a 5 min drive from the famous La Manga Golf Club Resort with its vibrant international atmosphere and many amenities such as casinos, shops, restaurants and 3 championship golf courses. 3 further courses of Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas are just 20 min North. 5-10 min drive to the lively nightlife of La Manga strip. Cartagena is a short drive away or take the train from the next village. 5 min walk to the warm shallow waters of the Mar Menor lagoon makes this safe for children. Jet skiing, scuba-diving, sailing and all other water sports are available on the La Manga Strip. Activities close by include horse riding, tennis, go-karting, walking and climbing. Calblanque and Salinas bird sanctuary are 5 min away. Murcia airport is 20 min away.

Accessibility
There is a lift to the apartment and ramps from road level to avoid any stairs. All stairways can be avoided by wheelchair users for access to the complex and the apartment.
Outside
There is a good size communal swimming pool with additional small children's pool in the courtyard. There is a small children's playground nearby. The spacious balcony has a table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
It is a 5 min walk to the wide, sandy beach of Mar de Cristal with the warm shallow safe waters. The beaches on the Mediterranean are a 10 min drive away on the La Manga Strip or for a secluded beach why not walk over the Calbanque trails.
Golf
There are 3 famous Championship Golf Courses at La Manga Club which is a 5 min drive away. A new municipal course is now open at Los Alcazares (15 mins drive). There are approx a further 20 golf courses within 1 hour to 1.5 hours drive away. There is also a small 9-hole par 27 course at the top of the La Mange Strip.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada ski resorts are 3 hours drive away. Can be combined with a couple of nights stay in Granada for the Alhambra Palace - one of the wonders of the world.
Travel
Murcia airport (San Javier) is a 20 min drive away on mostly dual carriageway. The airport is serviced by various airlines including Ryanair, Easyjet, Flybe, Jet2 and Flyglobespan. Various car hire companies operate from the airport (for the best rates check out Carjet.com). Transfers from the airport can be arranged. We can also provide information on local taxis. A car is not essential but useful so that you can explore the surrounding villages and sights.
Distances
Los Belones is 1.5 miles away and has a selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and bars. La Manga strip is 10 mins away. Cartagena is a 15 min drive away (or a short train journey from the neighbouring village of Los Nietos). It has a beautiful promenade with a selection of cafes and restaurants around the harbour. Cabo de Palos is a 10 mins drive, has a beautiful harbour with fish restaurants and has a large Sunday market.

Booking notes
Prices stated are weekly for the apartment. Please ask for shorter/longer stays. A non-refundable deposit of £100 per booking is requested at time of booking. All bookings must be paid in full 8 weeks before travel, any bookings made less than 8 weeks prior to travel must be paid in full immediately. A refundable security deposit of £100 is also required against breakages and damage and this will be refunded in full after inspection of apartment. There will be a cleaning charge of £8 P/P.
