A luxury 130sqm apartment with lifts, air conditioning, private parking, security gates, 5 swimming pools, 1 directly beside apartment. Fully furnished and equipped. Situated in the hills above Calahonda 10 min drive to beach and amenities. Halfway between Marbella and Fuengirola Sea and hill views. Gibraltar 1 and a half hours drive, Granada and the famous Alhambra palace are a must to see and the ski slopes, just 2 and a half hours drive. Benalmedia and its new luxury harbour 20 mins drive away. Walking, sightseeing, climbing, fishing etc. Puerto Banus with it’s wonderful nightlife and yachting harbour is a delight to visit. There are many designer shops and restaurants and many celebrities can be spotted. Boat trips are on offer to see the dolphins etc. The tourist town of Mijas is also only 20 mins drive away high up on the mountain side. Public transport is readily available and very reasonably priced. The ancient town of Ronda is well worth a visit as are the lakes.

Prices are for the property per week in euros. Long lets are available at 800 euros monthly up to 11 months. Security deposit is 800 euros plus a months rent in advance of moving in plus electricity and water.

Notes on accommodation
Fully air-conditioned in the summer and heated during the winter. This apartment is situated in a very peaceful location. A car is advised. It is suitable for children and pets would be allowed in certain circumstances. There are lifts from the private garage to the apartment.
The hills surrounding the apartment can be explored at ones leisure. The view from the top is breathtaking with Mijas nestling on the mountain on one side and Marbella on the other.
Accessibility
For people with mobility problems the apartment may not be suitable, altough there is a lift and wide entrance.
Outside
Terrace has 1 settee and 2 chairs with cushions, table with glass top. Room for BBQ and lounger. The tropical gardens are communal and the 5 swimming pools can be used by all the residents. The pools are not heated as yet but very spacious.
Coast/Beach
The coast and beaches are about 10 mins drive away and the coastal road links up all the resorts where various water sports can be enjoyed.
Golf
Numerous golf courses are about 10 mins drive away.
Travel
The nearest airport is Malaga which is undergoing a major extension built. The apartment is 40 mins drive from the airport on the motorway or coastal road. Car hire or use of car is recommended and can be booked at the airport. The port of Malaga is also about 60 mins drive away, where luxury liners berth.
Distances
Fuengirola is about 13km and Marbella also in the other direction. Africa can be visited from Gibralta port. The cable ride to the top of Gibraltar offers magnificent views down the coastline and Africa can be clearly seen. The apes at the rock are a must see and also the dungeons from the war and caves where concerts are being held. Granada is a beautiful old city to visit and in the nearby Sierra Nevadas skiing can be enjoyed.
Further details
There is a cable car at Benalmedina which goes to the top of the mountail where displays of birds of prey can be enjoyed. A short climb will offer wonderful views over the area.
There is a large, fully equipped sports centre 10 mins walk from the apartment where there are tennis courts etc. A short walk up the hill will bring you to the Italian restaurant and supermarket. In Calahonda itself there are many restaurants and shops and the beach of course.
Booking notes
There is a security deposit payable (which is fully refundable should there be no damage) 2 months in advance for long term lets and 1 months rent in advance of moving in. Long term lets are 765 euros monthly plus electrics and water.
