The apartment, which was refurbished in 2006, is on the ground floor of a 19th century town house in the heart of the historic old town of Villajoyosa (joyful town). It has a small bedroom with en-suite shower room and can also sleep 1 adult in the living area. 5 minute walk to the beach, town and restuarants. Close to local tourist attractions.

Changeover day
This is flexible depending on other booking. We can also, within reason, be flexible on arrival and departure times.

| Living Rooms: | Living area has a double sofa bed, fold out dining table with 3 chairs, TV, DVD player, MP3 speakers, bookshelf, DVDs to watch and books to read. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
There are bath/hand/beach towels available to use. Sheets, duvets and blankets are also provided. Cleaning of the apartment and washing of towels and bed linen are not included in the rental price and there is a 30 euros charge payable locally on arrival. |
Notes on accommodation
Please note that because of the location of the property there are no external windows (all light comes from the entrance hall) However this is a good thing as in the summer this means that the property stays nice and cool.
Accessibility
The old town of Villajoyosa has a number of hills and so may not be suitable for those with disabilities. However, because it is a ground floor apartment it may suit those who are not able to manage stairs, or those with children.
Outside
There is no outdoor space with this property, but who needs it when you have the beach so close!
Coast/Beach
You can walk to the beach in under 3 minutes together with all the shops, cafes and restaurants. The beach is huge and has blue flag status.
Golf
There is golf nearby. The tourist information in the town will be able to provide more details.
Special interest holidays
Villajoyosa is well located for all sorts of special interest holidays. Guests have stayed in the apartment who enjoy the variety of superb restaurants all within walking distance, its proximity to Benidorm with its great shopping, nightlife and theme parks, the closeness of the mountains for hiking/cycling and just getting away from it all, the unspoilt nature of the town, the Valor chocolate factory and cafe/giftshop to name but a few of the attractions.
Travel
Alicante airport is approximately 45 minutes away by car and there are lots of car hire companies available at both the airport and in Villajoyosa. If you are not travelling around there is an excellent train and bus service available. Contact the owner for more details.
Distances
Villajoyosa has a railway station linking the whole of the coast from Alicante to Denia. From Benidorm, only 10km away you can travel to any part of Spain.
Further details
Villajoyosa is full of small interesting shops, the indoor food market, the outdoor market on a Thursday morning.
Booking notes
A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance of the rental plus a £200 refundable breakage/damage deposit to be paid 56 days before start of holiday. Assuming no breakage/damage the security bond is automatically returned 7 days after departure. There is no minimum stay at the property and change over dates / arrival and departure times can be flexible.
