Notes on accommodation
The apartment has both hot & cold air conditioning. A portable oiled filled radiator for convenience on the cooler evenings which is quieter than air conditioning. As this is a ground floor apartment it is particularly suitable for all ages. NO SMOKING please, except on balcony with doors closed. Ash trays provided.
Accessibility
As the apartment is ground floor it is ideal for people with mobility problems, the paths around the complex are wide and mostly flat therefore gives good access to the entrance. However there is a small step over the patio doors to the balcony.
Outside
There are three communal pools surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, with water features, & decking for sun bathing. Two sunloungers & two directors chairs can be used for sun bathing & reading if desired. As evening draws in the pools are illuminated & lanterns are attractively placed around the complex. The balcony which looks onto two of the three pools is complete with table & chairs for your relaxation.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is only 200m away close to the Nautilus Bar & Restaurant. Punta Prima beach is a similar walking distance in the opposite direction. In fact there are a number of beaches within a short drive away. Torrevieja can be reached by walking along the beach (approx 1 hour) and also still in Torrevieja, there are a number of beautifully beaches here. A local bus goes to Torrevieja frequently & cost only 1 euro, bus stop is at the top of the road.
Golf
A short distance takes you to golf courses at Villamartin, Campoamor & Las Rambles. Several other courses can be reached within approximately 30 mins drive, La Manga course is only 45 mins drive.
Travel
The apartment is positioned within easy reach of local airports. Murcia only 20mins and Alicante airport 45mins drive. Car Hire is available at both airports & can be booked on the internet before flying or on arrival if so wished. Pickup and return to airport can be arranged.
Distances
The cosmopolitan Torrevieja with its lined promenade & beaches is a very short drive or bus ride away. Along the promenade there are numerous bars & restaurants & adjacent lots of stalls for shopping. There is a market on Friday mornings and is said to be the biggest market in Europe. La Flamenca. La Zenia & Cabo Roig are all within a short drive & al have beaches, shopping, bars & restaurants. Large market at La Flamenca on Saturday mornings. A must see Mar Menor is approximately 30 mins.
Further details
In abundance you will find bar, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, internet cafes & banks. A short drive to Torrevieja you will come to a large commercial centre call Habineres where you can shop to you drop. Also in the other direction towards San Javier. Dos Mares which is equally as large. If you want history then a visit to Murcia or Cartagena is approximately 40-45mins . On the outskirts of Torrevieja there s an Aqua Park & bowling alley. Also the Park of Nations which makes an interesting outing. Go Karting is nearer to the apartment within walking distance.
Booking notes
Prices include bed linen & towels (not beach towels) and a full clean after your departure. At time of booking an nonrefundable 25% deposit is required, balance to be paid six weeks prior to travel. £100 refundable deposit against damages/breakages is required with the balance.
