This modem apartment is situated close to a blue flag beach with promenade that stretches for a few kilometers. There are bars and shops nearby and a selection of restaurants. Being situated on a level stretch of land it is easy to get around by foot, or why not choose to hire out a bike and enjoy the promenade in this way. Roquetas has a busy shopping area and shopaholics can enjoy the nearby shopping mall with its array of boutiques offering designer clothing, jewellery shops, interior design and excellent supermarket with superb fresh fish and shellfish counter [possibly supplied from the pretty fishing harbour/marina in Roquetas itself. Golfing enthusiasts can choose from a number of courses nearby with 2 right on the doorstep. The city of Almeria is easily accessible with its stunning Moorish Alkazabar and a bustling centre offering all and more of what you would expect from a cosmopolitan city!

Accessibility
Can be used by wheelchair users as the apartment has lift access to all floors and level access. Lift can be also accessed from the underground parking area.
Outside
Balcony has table, 4 chairs and clothes airer. A communal swimming pool is available with a separate children's pool, both with showers in the garden area.
Coast/Beach
Walking distance to blue flag beach of approx 5 mins with beach cafes, restaurants, parasol/lounger hire and free showers.
Golf
2 x PGA golf courses in close proximity 1 of which is the Playa Serena Golf Club, 18 holes, par 72 (services include golf trolley, clubs rental, restaurant, shop and swimming pool).
Travel
Nearest airport is Almeria which is approx 1/2 hours drive away, although Malaga and Murcia airports are within reasonable travelling time.
Taxis are abundant at the airport or transfers can be arranged via our agent subject to availability. Car hire is recommended to visit the many attractions around the area but is by no means essential. Many low budget airlines fly to Almeria - Monarch, EasyJet, Jet 2, Ryanair etc.
Distances
Roquetas de Mar is well placed for visiting the many areas of interest including Granada (Alhambra Palace), Capo de Gata (natural park), Sierra Nevada. Also visit Tabernas and Albaricoques where the original spaghetti western movies were made.
Further details
Markets are held on Sundays and Thursdays and why not try flamingo spotting at the Salt lagoons at Las Marinas. For those of the adventurous types, why not try the near by water park or if you prefer keeping dry, try the glass bottomed boat which sails from the new marina.
Booking notes
20% deposit required with all bookings (non-refundable). A deposit of £50 is required as a breakage deposit payable with the rental balance prior to the booking, This will be refunded upon return of the keys and confirmation from our agent that there are no breakages.
A £50 deposit secures the accommodation which is non-refundable.
Final balances must be received prior to the booking allowing time for the keys to be sent.
