San Juan Capistrano nestles on the foothills of the Almijara Mountains - yet less than a mile from the town centre and main beaches. The area has its own communal pool, restaurant and mini supermarket. There is a regular bus service to the town and the main beach at Burriana. The area of Nerja is characterised by an old town, limestone caves and a tree lined promenade (Balcon de Europa) but also has a range of restaurants, bars, shops etc. The nearest airport is Malaga approximately 50km away. Granada is in easy reach with the magnificent Alhambra Palace 1.5 hour’s drive. The Sierra Nevadas are also accessible. Two miles away are the famous Nerja caves and further afield are the Moorish hillside villages of Competa, Friglians and the lakes and countryside around Vinuela.

Changeover day
We can be flexible on start days, in summer it is more normally Saturday to Saturday. Normal departure by 10am and arrival in the afternoon. this is negotiable. Keys are collected locally, for very late arrivals we can arrange for a key to be posted.

there are a range of videos, books and some games available for use.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels, bed linen and tea towels are provided and they are changed weekly. The apartment is also cleaned on a weekly basis. There is a local agent on the urbanisation should any problems arise.

Cot and highchair are available on request at a small charge.
Heaters are available for each room. Pets negotiable.

Accessibility
The apartment is not suitable for people with mobility problems as it is accessed via stairs.

Outside
The terrace is a good size and has tables and chairs with two sun chairs, there are two awnings to protect from the full sun. Shared large swimming pool on urbanisation, with children’s area.

Coast/Beach
Beach is about a kilometre away, it is walkable, there is a regular bus service into town and the beaches.

Golf
There is a public golf course about 20km away.

Travel
Malaga is the nearest airport, about 55km. A car would be recommended. A taxi service can be arranged from the airport.

Distances
The centre of Nerja is about 1km away and the caves about 5km. Granada is about an hour and a half by car.

Further details
Nerja has a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. On the urbanisation there are also restaurants, bars and cafes. There is a small supermarket open from April to October and the town has a number of supermarkets. There is a Donkey sanctuary on the outskirts where you can feed the donkeys, goats and walk the dogs.

Booking notes
We require a £100 deposit for bookings and the balance to be paid eight weeks before the rental begins.
