We also have a large, beautifully decorated space available to hire for any events or occasions all year round. As well as offering a delicious full international buffet breakfast daily from 8.30 – 11.00am we have an extensive wine list and liquid refreshments are available 24 hours, beautiful terraced areas which trap the sunlight from dawn until dusk, email and Internet facilities, daily maid and babysitting services - for the evenings to give you a chance to relax further. On top of that we offer bike hire for those willing to experience all on offer.

All prices range between low and high season rates and may vary. All prices are per room per night rates. Public holidays will be charged at high season rates All rooms tarifs are exclusive of 7% IVA. Optional breakfast for 8€ per person.
Changeover day
We prefer arrivals from 15.00 and all check out by 12.00

Notes on accommodation
Daily maid is provided with fresh linen and towels. Rooms are cleaned and changed every day. Any further requests for the rooms can be arranged through the maid.
We at Casa Clara feel that the most important part of the family should not be left behind, and welcome dogs. We are fortunate to have some fantastic walks on our doorstep. We offer bike hire as locally there are a range of many rides through the Natural park, casually along to the beach or a longer trek into the mountain areas. We are connected with local businesses offering a wide range of sports (including sky diving, scuba, kite surfing, horse back riding and many more) we are also within the Dali triangle and the heart of Mediterranean cuisine. Gastronomy is high on the importance agenda here with the Worlds best restaurant, El Bulli in a neighbouring town. In advance we can help organise any visits or excursions required.
Outside
With 2 large, private terraced areas we serve refreshments throughout the day. Choose the sun trapped relaxing terrace or the beautifully designed sheltered garden to absorb Castello and relax in our tranquillity. Garden furniture and water features make it a more comfortable space for all the family. We offer a full international breakfast daily from 8-11.00 serving all locally produced, fresh delights. Have a relaxed morning testing home made cakes, traditional breads and Catalonian meats and cheeses. Freshly ground coffee and ripe fruits from the town market all in the light, spacious dining area.
Coast/Beach
With miles of beaches stretching the whole length of Catalonia we are 5 minutes drive from the main beach which offers sun beds and umbrellas, bars, restaurants, shops, entertainment and watersport schools. Or looking a little further are secluded bays or specific surfing and diving beaches. You can walk the whole way along the coastline to experience the incredible sunsets and range of bars and restaurants on offer.
Golf
Locally there a two golf courses. Please contact a member of staff for descriptions of prices, courses and direction.
Transfer and transport can be arranged with notice.
Skiing
There are many ski resorts varying in distance. From the closest just 1.5 hours drive to Andorra roughly 4 hours by car. Again, contact a member of staff for further information or advice.
Special interest holidays
Painting, cookery, photography courses as well as scuba diving, sky diving, kite surfing lessons are available with advance notice. Due to the landscape we have so much to offer and all are so important locally that there are a range of experienced tutors and schools. We can also arrange nature tours, mountains walking, horse back riding, bird watching treks, white water rafting, boating trips and many further activities. Museums, art galleries and Dali, a few examples of again, more things that are very important here for the local culture. Catalonia offers a wide range of experiences given the mass of attractions and natural beauty we are lucky to live in.
Travel
Barcelona Girona is the closest airport, 40 mins drive or Perpignon under 2 hours drive. Both are very easy to get to and from. There are regular & reliable bus, train & taxi services easily organised by a memeber of staff. For a small fee we can arrange air port collections. Hire cars are available at all airports or in the surrounding towns. All the neighbouring villages have something different to offer and should not be missed so a car is recommended but not essential.
Distances
Figueres holds the Dali Museum, fantastic shopping, traditional tapas bars & many cultural experiences, a ten minute drive inland. In the other direction, same distance, Roses is a seafront town offering a wide range of tourist attractions. Empuriabrava holds Europe's largest Marina & canal system, Girona hosts a huge array of education and tradition. Cadeques is a beautiful art influenced coastal town part of the Dali triangle. There's many more fabulous secrets inland awaiting discovery.
Further details
From shopping to nightlife, sports to siestas, leading restaurants to sailing, art to cookery courses, tours to tapas there really is a huge range on our doorstep. There are three types of restaurants all in the town square and a number of Spanish bars. Here in Spain fiestas and public holidays are frequent, each one celebrating a different belief, historical anniversary or excuse to turn the streets into a mass of stalls, musical displays, traditional dancing. An excuse to eat cultural produce, drink cervezas with friends and soad up the natural fun Castello offers. The cathedral, the squares, quiet tea gardens, village shops all help make this a magical place. A little further out is the huge city of Barcelona and all the wonders there on offer. Closer is the stunning old town in Girona, investigate the Jewish quaters and the history there. Take our bikes into the heart of the Natural park and study birds here that are on the migration path to Africa that are rarely seen. Bring you dog and let him roam the miles of coast land. Take a day to experience the local wineries or you can enjoy a whole host of treasures including cave paintings, Iberian settlements, Roman and Greek ruins, Romanesque Chapels and medieval castles.

No charges will be made to your card until your departure. We require 72 hours notice for a cancellation of your confirmed booking. Any later than this period will be charged at full rate. However all cancellation charges taken can be credited against future reservations.

Casa acogedora en un entorno muy bonito, bien comunicada para recorrer toda la comarca. El propietario aunque habla poco castellano (solo ingles), es muy agradable y atento. Los bizcochos del desayuno son muy buenos. Casa comoda para ir con niños. ACONSEJABLE 100%.
Estuvimos alojados los dias 14 y 15 de septiembre en esta casa con estilo rural; muy acogedora y un diseño guapísimo en su patio interior. Sólo una pega, las habitaciomes están muy poco insonorizadas y por tanto se escucha cualquier comentario. Aun y así de volver a esta zona repetiriamos mi mujer y un servidor.
