Saturday is preferred as changeover day but other days can be considered.

Coast/Beach
La Marina, midway between Alicante and Torrevieja on the Spanish Costa Blanca, has a very attractive coastal landscape, with sandy beaches stretching about 17 kilometres from Santa Pola to Torrevieja, the area is ideal for family holidays.
La Marina has a good range of shops, bars and banks and a regular bus service north and south along the coast. There is also a larger town about a mile inland with many more shops.
Golf
La Marquessa golf course is a 10 min drive away at Rojales, and Las Ramblas and Villa Martin golf courses are about a 20 min drive away. The famous golf complex of La Manga is about 60-70 min away.
Travel
Alicante airport is a 25 minute drive. Car hire is available at the airport although not absolutely essential. Transfer to and from the airport and villa can be arranged by taxi.
Distances
Alicante is a 25 minutes drive. Guardamar 15 minutes and Torrevieja 20 minutes. The villa is a few minutes walk from La Marina with its commercial centre and varied selection of Indian, Chinese and Italian restaurants and bars. There is a supermarket and several other shops in the marina but the nearby market towns of Guardamar and Elche (known as 'the city of palms') have a large selection of shops.
Further details
There are markets in La Marina on Thursdays and Sundays. Every day of the week sees markets somewhere in the area - Santa Pola, Guardamar, La Mata - with evening 'trinket' markets in Santa Pola, Guardamar and Torrevieja during the summer season.
Booking notes
10% deposit is required on acceptance of booking. Full balance of payment is due 8 weeks before arrival date, along with a £100 refundable security deposit in case of damage to property.
