Notes on accommodation
The cot is a travel cot please inform us if it is required. A high chair is also in the apartment. Smoking is allowed on the balcony but we request that you do not smoke in the apartment to make it more enjoyable for all guests. A small safe is also in the apartment. Even though air con is not fitted there are powerful fans in the most rooms. We live in Spain and find this adequate for the summer months.
Accessibility
The apartment has 12 steps leading to the front door, this will therefore make it inaccessible to wheelchair users.
Outside
A car is not necessary. A 5 minute walk to the local beach (Mijas), which offers a selection of bars and restaurants. There is a choice of 3 large swimming pools within the complex to choose from along with 2 children’s swimming pools and a jacuzzi pool.
On-site there is also a sport centre for you to use offering its own swimming pools, tennis courts, bowls and golf courses, After you have had enough of the sports relax in the sports centre bar/restaurant.
Then enjoy the ambience of the Miraflores Club House offering breakfasts, lunches, candle lit dinners, BBQ's or just drinks at the bar whilst joining in with a game of chess or Bridge. The Club House also boasts evening entertainment offering acts from around the world.
There are 2 supermarkets and many shops in La Plaza which is 500 yards from the apartment. Surrounding La Plaza, along the beach front and within the Complex has a great variety of restaurants and bars for you to choose from.
Coast/Beach
The Mijas beach is just a short 5 minute walk away. The beach is wild and great for rock pooling and sunbathing.
A 5 minute drive in the marbella direction and you will come upon the beautiful beach and lovely port of Cabopino. This is where El Dorado was filmed and offers a dozen lovely restaurants and bars. A beautiful sheltered beach can be found here also.
Golf
The Costa del Sol is famous for its variety of golf courses, offering something for every level. On the door step is Miraflores golf club which also offers excellent restaurants, bars and floor shows.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada is approx 1.5 - 2 hours drive away which has great winter skiing.
Travel
Malaga airport is a 30 min drive from the apartment. Granada airport is just over an hours drive away so is the airport on Gibralta.

30 min from Malaga airport. 8 min from Fuengirola. 8 min from Marbella. 20 min from Mijas Village. 5 min from La Cala.
