Casa La Parra is a charming 2 storey village house in Beznar, which has been converted into spacious apartments of one or two bedrooms. The apartments share a swimming pool, courtyard and barbeque area and each apartment has its own kitchen and bathroom. Ideally located in the village of Beznar, between the stunning city of Granada and the Tropical Coast, near the picturesque Alpujarra region and the National Park of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The village itself is tranquil and offers the visitor the chance to experience traditional Andalusian life. You can appreciate excellent views of Lake Beznar and the surrounding orange and lemon trees. Here you can find the basic facilities, a supermarket and a typical bar. It is close to the villages of Lecrín and Dúrcal which have a larger selection of shops, restaurants and bars. There are also regular bus services from Beznar into the surrounding villages and into the centre of Granada or to the coast.

| Casa Las Cerezas is on the first floor of Casa La Parra. It has 3 small balconies, one in the living room and the other two in the bedrooms, with views of local Church and village. It is an attractively decorated open plan apartment. In the living room, you can watch a DVD on the TV or listen to a CD on the stereo. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower, and one with twin beds. There is also a toilet room. The kitchen has all modern appliances: electric hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, cafetiere, teapot, kettle, toaster, saucepans, plates, cups, glasses and cutlery. Everything else you may need is included: towels, sheets, tea towels, iron etc. For those who want to wash their clothes there is a shared washing machine and washing line available. | |

Outside
Shared swimming pool 3m x 7m, depth + 1.50m - 1.50m, open from 15 May onwards. Patio and courtyard with garden furniture and sun loungers. Shared built-in double barbecue.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Playa Granada in Motril at 25km away. It is one of the prettiest beaches on the Tropical Coast, with its fine sand, and is not as exploited as other tourist areas.
If you feel like going a bit further out, La Herradura is a little fishing resort town located in between Nerja and Almunecar. It is a 2km long sandy beach nestled in between two natural promontories and is often described as one of the most picturesque beaches in Southern Spain.
Golf
Los Moriscos 18 hole golf course is available in Motril, at 25km away. The 2850 metre course lies on the shores of the Mediterranean and is strategically located right in the heart of Granada’s Costa Tropical. It is a level course dotted with pine trees.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada ski resort is around 45 mins away by car. It is Europe´s southernmost ski resort and is endowed with the Iberian peninsula's highest summits. The resort is situated in the municipalities of Monachil, Guejar Sierra and Dilar near Granada's Costa Tropical and the Costa del Sol. The resort's village, Pradollano is at an altitude of 2,100 metres. With a total of 61km spread over 39 runs, plus 6 sensational off-course trails, Sierra Nevada offers the visitor a wide choice of activities.

Travel
45 minutes by car to Granada airport, an airport with an increasing number of international flights, or 1 hour 45 minutes to Malaga airport. Car hire is recommended, and is available in the airports or through a local travel agency with special prices for our guests.
Distances
Beznar is just 3km from Lecrín or 5km from Dúrcal, both villages with a variety of shops and restaurants. It is 33km from the centre of Granada, the historic city famous for the Alhambra Palaces.
Further details
In the local supermarket at the end of the street, you can find local produce and necessary food items. In the local bar you can enjoy tapas with your drinks, also in the same street.
In Lecrín, we recommend Restaurante Garví and the supermarket called Celia. Here you can find a pharmacy and a bank with a cash dispenser.
In Dúrcal, there is a wider range of supermarkets, shops, restaurants, banks and 24 hour emergency doctors. We recommend a visit to the local street market on Wednesdays, where you can find local products, groceries, clothing and much more!
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required in euros at the time of booking. The full amount of the booking will be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival date. A returnable deposit of 150 euros must be paid on arrival which will be returned on the final day of the booking, providing there are no breakages etc. If you cancel the booking after payment and we can re-rent the property, we will return your money.
