The villa is furnished to a very high standard, it enjoys an elevated position hence the wonderful views overlooking the old village of Jalon in the famous Jalon Valley which is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful locations of real Spain. This is a modern villa built on 2003. The pool and bar-b-q area has 80 square meters of sun terrace, we provide 6 sun loungers and 2 parasols. Please note this is our second home and when you are staying there it will feel like a home, it's NOT your standard holiday let.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday, because our cleaner does do a excellent job she need the villa vacant by 10.30 am on departure and please do not arrive before 2 pm.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Master bedroom has a king size bed. The two other bedrooms both have 2 single beds. |
| Bathrooms: | The master bedroom has en-suite bathroom with wc and luxury walk in shower-wetroom, we also have a small safe for your security. The family bathroom has a bath + shower over, wc and a bidet. Both bathrooms have a hairdryer. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen has granite worktops, gas hob + electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster etc. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge has 2 leather sofas, TV with 20 English channels including Sky Sport, DVD player, video, 2 CD players (1 portable) plus dining area with table and 6 chairs. |
| Other: | We have a large storeroom under the villa, please feel free to use the inflatables in the pool. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
We have an English couple who only live 250 yards away who look after our villa and are always on hand, they keep it spotlessly clean. Towels and linen are included and changed weekly. We also supply a generous welcome pack. |
Notes on accommodation
High chair and cot can be arranged with a small additional cost. We have a number of cool bags in the villa so if you feel like taking a picnic to the beach please feel free to use them. We have the pool professionally cleaned twice a week and the garden is well kept.

Accessibility
The property is on elevated ground, therefore there are a number of steps from the drive to the house.
Outside
Private floodlit pool with roman steps 8x4 meters. The pool and barbecue area has 80 square meters of sun terrace so it's has ample space for our 6 sun loungers. The barbecue has an outdoor sink, we have 2 large parasols, we have a table and 6 chairs by the barbecue + a table and 4 chairs in the shade too. Our floodlit garden has many exotic plants including lemon trees, orange trees and palms.
Coast/Beach
The golden sandy beaches of the Costa Blanca are 25 minutes drive away. Because the Costa Blanca is on the Mediterranean the sea is much warmer than the Costa del Sol. The beaches are very safe and shallow, great for children. Life guards are on duty during the summer.
Golf
The nearest golf course is about 12 miles away.
Special interest holidays
This is a truly stunning area and very popular with walkers in the cooler months. The Jalon Valley is famous for wine and restaurants.
Travel
The Jalon Valley is about 1 hour drive from either Alicante or Valencia airport. We will send you very detailed direction and a map, it's easy to find.
Distances
The coastal town of Calpe is 25 minute drive. There are many places of interest within a one hour drive, we will send you lots of information with your pack prior to departure. Please feel free to ask us, we are here to help.
Further details
The village of Jalon whilst being very picturesque has an excellent supermarket open six and a half days per week, you will also find banks with cash machines that accept your English debit cards plus a chemist and many other shops. The village has about 6 top wine merchants and a wine museum. The small tourist information centre is always very helpful.
Scuba diving is very popular and there is a school at Calpe, (30 minutes drive) with instruction, we have done it and its great, they all speak good English, about 50 euros, the phone number for the school is (0034) 965 835 428.
