Further details
Described as the 'Switzerland of Spain' the Alpujarra valleys are bounded to the north by the heights of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, capped with snow most of the year round. Picturesque villages of white square houses with flat roofs, unique chimneys and terraced fields are a feature and most are in a region designated as a Natural Park being an area of some 170,000 hectares.
The famous Alhambra Palace is in Granada as are many beautiful mosques and the cathedral. Restaurants and bars to suit all tastes make Granada well worth a trip.
As we are some distance from the supermarkets and shops we operate a 'buy your groceries' service together with
starter pack which is included in the holiday price.
The beautiful local villages abound with bars and restaurants together with gift shops to buy a present to take home or to spoil yourself.
