Room 1, the Veleta room

The Casa Rural, which literally means "house in the countryside", is a Bed and Breakfast and has been opened since September 2007. The house is located at the end of the village, next to a little mountain stream known as "Arroyo de la Greda", to which it owes its name. The house is built on a plot divided in terraces. On the terraces there are many different types of fruit trees and a small vegetable and herb garden. The house has a beautiful 360 degrees panoramic view of Sierra Nevada and the village.

Room 1, de Veleta room has twin beds, a bathroom en-suite, with shower, toilet and bidet and direct access to the sun terrace.
Room 2, the Mulhacen room has double bed, a bathroom en-suite with shower, toilet and bidet and a small french balcony.
Room 3, the Alcazaba room as a double bed, possibililty for 2 extra beds, a bathroom en-suite with shower, toilet and bidet.
The kitchen has a cooker, microwave, refrigerator, water boiler and the necessary equipment.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms and bathrooms have underfloor heating and electric radiators for winter time, warm and cold running water. Towels and bed linen are provided as is baby cot and linen.
Outside
A lovely sun terrace on the first floor offers the opportunity to have breakfast or any meal outside, or just to enjoy the views and the sun.
Coast/Beach
Within an hour drive is the Mediterranean Sea, the Granada coastline is the Costa Tropical and owes its name to the very different climate that you find there. The difference in temperature and humidity is striking and, therefore, you can easily go to the beach in wintertime after a morning of intensive skiing in the mountains and enjoy a nice warm afternoon on the beach. The Costa tropical has many beautiful picturesque villages, worth a visit.
Skiing
In the Sierra Nevada we have the most southern ski resort in Europe. Depending on the snow conditions, you can ski from December to April. From the B&B you will be in 30 minutes by car at the ski resort.
Travel
The nearest airport is Granada Airport and is on a 25km distance of the village. A car is recommended.
Distances
Granada and the world famous Alhambra is on only 15 minutes driving from the village, The ski resort on 30 minutes and 1 hour to the beaches of the Costa Tropical.
Further details
Güéjar Sierra is a small picturesque mountain village at 1100 meters of altitude on the border of the Sierra Nevada National Park. The village has its origins from far before the Moorish conquest. The Moorish building and features have merely been saved. The village has all basic necessities such as a supermarket and many small stores. There are, of course, many bars and restaurants.

Prices are per room, for 2 persons, and include breakfast.
Minimum stay is 2 nights, 7% VAT inclusive. Payment by bank transfer of 30% of the total amount is required to confirm the booking, the remaining amount can be paid in cash at the end of your stay.
