Notes on accommodation
The air-conditioning is a fully integrated system keeping a constant temperature in all rooms, the heating can be used via the air-con or the gas boiler system. This is a non smoking villa, however ash trays will be provided for use outside of the villa. There are children's play areas around the complex. We can also offer a welcome pack if required at a small charge. Please advise when making your booking should you require a welcome pack.
Accessibility
Villa is wheel chair friendly and on one level making it ideal for people with walking difficulties.
Outside
Good sized private pool 21'x 12 ' with its own showering facility, there is also a pool cupboard with a number of swimming aid and pool toys including a couple of umbrellas for days out on the beach, beautiful views across the 5 star golf course. There is an outside barbecue, with a 8 seater table under a beautifully illuminated pergola. Large patio area with plenty of outside lighting, 6 sun loungers, also there is more seating in the covered terrace area, also a built in barbecue. Directly across from the front of the villa there is ample more parking for up to another 6 cars if needed. The drive has its own pergola for off road parking.
Coast/Beach
The famous Mar Menor, a partially enclosed warm sea with sandy (Blue Flag) beaches and water sport facilities - 20 mins. Santiago De la Rabina, San Javier has a beautiful beach -15 mins. Los Alcazares, a favourite with families and locals - 15 mins. La Manga and the famous La Manga strip - 20 mins. Historic city and harbour of Cartegena - 30 mins. The salt flats with its pink flamingos, and the mud baths of the San Pedro del Pinatar - 25 mins. Torrevieja - 30 mins. Mazarron - 40 mins.
Golf
Our villa is front line overlooking the 15th tee on the new championship design Jack Nicklaus golf course. Residents also have access to the other Polaris World golf courses included in the Jack Nicklaus Golf Trail - La Torre (18 championship course), Mar Menor 18 hole course and Hacienda Riquelme 8. Mosa Trajectum has an excellent course which is just next door to our course, A resident's discount is available for golf, please ask for details. You can travel to these resorts by car or take the free inter-resort courtesy bus provided.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada, has some wonderful skiing. Downhill skiing is available about three hours drive from the resort. Sierra Nevada offers novice and expert skiers great skiing with Spanish hospitality and prices.
Special interest holidays
Murcia is known as the garden of Spain, the vast majority of the region is farmland. To the north of the region there are two wine growing districts. The area also boasts many fiestas and even music festivals in some summer months. Horse riding/trekking is available at La Manga. Why not try a short trip to Cartagena, tour the city on an open top bus, or try a trip around the bay on one of the many catamaran's located in the harbour. There are a number of restaurants local that will collect you and your family and bring you back home to the villa( great if you want to have a few drinks) It's also a great location for water sports enthusiasts. The local wine is stunning, try the Bullas or Jumilla - the reds are really soft and drinkable...gorgeous.
Travel
El Valle is accessible from San Javier Airport using the ( RM19 ) which is a dual carriageway running from the AP7 to the City of Murcia. Murcia San Javier airport is a 20 minute drive via the (RM19). A brand new airport has been built just 12 minutes from the villa, it is due to complete early 2012. Alicante airport is 40 minutes via the AP7. Both airports are well serviced by budget airlines. Car hire is recommended. We are able to quote you discounted car hire if required.
Distances
Murcia City is a 15 minute drive along the C3319 ( RM 19 ). The beaches and restaurants of Los Alcazares and San Javier are 20 mins drive along the C3319 ( RM 19 ) AP7.

25 min to Cartagena harbour and shopping centre.
20 min to San Javier airport.
40 min to Alicante Airport.
60 min to Benidorm.

The all new 5 star beautiful El Valle golf club incorporates its own 5 star restaurant, also an Irish bar, a well equipped supermarket, Gym, bank and much more, El Valle Golf Resort offer coaching lessons. Special prices for guests staying at our villa. The facilities of La Torre Golf Resort (5 mins) and Mar Menor Golf Resort (15 mins) which include supermarket, golf course and clubhouse, bars with live music, shops, restaurants, tennis courts and swimming pools are available to all Polaris World residents to use.
Dos Mares shopping mall is the nearest and is approx 15 minutes away at San Pedro Pinatar, you will find a variety of shops, cafes and an extensive food hall. Nueva Condominia on the outskirts of Murcia is approx 20 minutes away with numerous restaurants and cafes, 200 retail outlets offering everything from food to Haute Couture Boutiques. There is also 10 pin bowling and a 6 screen cinema, sure to be a favourite with all the family. Why not try go carting which is situated near San Javier airport great fun.

We had a great time, my husband and our eldest son just loved the golf, the beaches were second to none, very clean with calm waters, we also enjoyed the go carting although a bit scary for me being a woman driver, I wonder if I could lock myself in a wardrobe as I did not want to go home, Thanks Joe it's now top of our list for next year. Why the owner chose a home in this location
We took great care whilst looking for our holiday home, we love Spain and its beautiful weather, but we did not want to live in or around some of the main resorts as they can be very loud and a bit brash so to speak, Murcia has it all, wonderful beaches, and historic towns, its unspoilt Spain and that is what sold it to us.
Unique benefits of the property
Our villa is situated right on the golf course itself, enjoying fantastic views across the golf course,we are one of the few villas that do not have a golf cart track running across the back of the villa, we are south facing so we get the sun around the pool all day, we are not overlooked at the front or the back, we also have an outside pagola for alfresco dining, the villa itself is stunning with high vaulted ceilings and modern furnishings. Your own spa bath to soak away those aches and pains.
