On the outskirts of Calpe yet within walking distance of the town, beaches, bars and restaurants. The villa is set over two levels and has two terraces where you can enjoy the sun until it sets very late in the evening behind the Sierra Bernia mountains. The ground floor has a large living/diner, kitchen, wc and large bedroom with wheel-in shower en-suite. This room is suitable for the disabled or guests with limited mobility. The pool and terrace lead directly from the lounge and offer panoramic mountain views. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) and terrace. The two front bedrooms enjoy the same mountain views and is a delightful sight to wake up to. There is off street covered parking for two cars.

Accessibility
The villa was built with my niece in mind who is confined to a wheelchair and is accessed via a ramp. There are no steps on the ground floor or poolside terrace except for one very small step midway across the terrace. The downstairs bedroom has a wheel-in shower with grab rail and sink. The steps to the pool are the ladder type. Calpe has a designated disabled section on one of the beaches equipped with ramps, toilet and beach buggies.
Outside
Private pool 8 x 4m. Plenty of seating on the poolside terrace including, cane sofa, swinging hammock, sunbeds and dining table and chairs for 10. BBQ. Upstairs terrace has table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
Calpe has 2 blue flag beaches and both have with long flat tiled promenades. They are both lined with many bars and restaurants. There is also a marina lined with numerous fish restaurants that show the days catch in large iced displays. It is 5-10 mins drive or 15-35 mins walk depending on which area you are visiting. Local taxis are cheap and readily available.
Golf
Calpe, Altea, Javea and Benidorm courses are all a short drive away.
Travel
Alicante 40 mins. Murcia 1 hour 45 mins. Valencia 2 hours.
Car hire is recommended to get the most from the area.
Distances
Calpe 5-10 mins drive. Altea 15 mins. Benidorm, Terra Mitica, Mundomar 30 mins. Moraira 15 mins. Jalon Valley only 15 mins inland for a taste of the 'real Spain'.
Further details
Calpe has a very interesting old town with cobbled streets and squares filled with patio bars and restaurants. There is also a large street market every Saturday. Both of the main beaches have play areas for young children and mini golf facilities.
Booking notes
A 20% non refundable deposit is required to confirm booking. Balance 8 weeks prior to arrival. A deposit of £150 is required to be paid to the owner 3 weeks prior to the commencement of the occupation to cover any damages or breakages. This will be refunded immediately the agent has reported that the property has been left in good working order.
