Dogs are allowed, we charge 15€ extra per week. But allowing dogs only after consultation with the owners.

Saturday, ariving from 16.00 til 20.00 and departure before 11.00

Notes on accommodation
La Jaima & La Ruina are equipped to cook, but when you don't feel like making breakfast, how would you feel about a served breakfast at your holidayhome/tent?

Accessibility
Refugio Marnes that consists of La Ruina, La Jaima and the main house, maybe not suitable for parents with young kids. By its nature it doesn't accommodate people with mobility problems.

Outside
Refugio Marnes is, above all, a place to rest; getting away from those persistent background annoyances in our lives.
Here, you can read a book, take the sun, have a swim or fall asleep under the shade of a tree, simply enjoying the sounds of nature. Around 'La Ruina´ & ´La Jaima lies 25 hectares of natural unspoiled land, so you are not only renting a house but also its environment. During your stay inthe lovely swimming pool (11 x 4.5 metres) is at your disposal.

Coast/Beach
You are approximately 30 minutes by car from the coast, so for beach and aquatic activities you have many options. Around Christmas time, 'beach weather' is not unusual here and a golden tan can be gently created under december sun. The coast can become crowded in mid-summer, but there are easily found beaches and ´Calas´ that are unspoiled and that can make you forget you are in a tourist area.

Golf
The Costa Blanca is know for its golf courses and on site we have plenty of information about where to play Golf. The nearest Golf course is 25minutes by car.

Skiing
2.5 hours by car the first Ski facilities kan be reached.

Special interest holidays
The immediate surroundings of Refugio Marnes are an excellent place to have a long stroll or mountain walk.
Sierra de Bernia is famous in the cycling world where professionals have their spring training camps on the Costa Blanca, and Mountain bikers can go directly from the property for a spin along the winding mountain roads.
In Jalon, Benissa and Calpe there are opportunities for horse riding. The area is also known and famous amongst Climbers, where different degrees of difficulty are to be found in the Sierra de Bernia area. The nearest climbs are accessible by car and are just a few minutes away from Refugio Marnes.

Travel
The most obvious way to get here is to fly; you book your flight through a travel agency/flight shop. Then you have to hire a car, which is also possible in advance. We can recommend a good car booking site. Alternatively, you can hire a car directly from the airport, which we can arrange for you. Alicante and Valencia are the nearest airports. Alicante on 3/4 hour drive and Valencia on 1.15 hour drive from Refugio Marnes.

You can reserve the period you wish to stay with us by email ore phone. Before booking, we ask you to state your;
• Full Name
• Address
• Passport number
• Phone and mobile numbers
After you have booked,
• you pay a non-refundable deposit of 100 euros, within 2 weeks after reservation.
• The balance must be paid one month before arrival.
After the deposit is paid, we shall send you confirmation of reservation.
Payments can be made on account number stated on our website.
