El Raso is adjacent to a conservation area surrounding a peaceful natural salt lake. Villa Mimosa is a beautiful detached villa located in a private road flanked by orange groves. There are 2 bars, a bodega (wine merchant), cafés, a bank and a small supermarket all within 5-10 minutes' walk. The large communal pool, including a children's shallow area, is 2 minutes' walk away and there are well tended gardens and lakes to stroll to, with petanque pitches. Several top-class golf courses are all within a short drive. Five minutes' drive to Guardamar with its beautiful beaches, promenade, shops and pine forest.

Notes on accommodation
This recently-built detached villa is ideal for your family holiday or golf trip. Beautifully decorated throughout, the accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms: 2 doubles and one twin, all with large built-in mirrored wardrobes. The ground floor has an airy comfortable sitting room area with satellite TV and DVD/CD player. The dining area has a round extendable table with seating for up to 8 people. All rooms have ceiling fans and/or hot and cold air-conditioning with quiet and efficient Panasonic units. The kitchen is very well equipped with microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, oven, hob with extractor and plenty of cupboard space, plus a floor to ceiling wine rack. The washing machine is in the utility room which leads on to the back garden. The grounds are fully landscaped and the lawned garden at the back of the villa offers welcome shade during the afternoon and evening at the height of the summer.

Accessibility
The villa has off-road parking and a small step up from the garden path to the front patio. A double bedroom and shower room are located on the ground floor.

Coast/Beach
El Raso borders the beautiful Laguna de la Mata, which has been designated a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty. The unspoilt town of Guardamar is a five minute drive away with its spotless beach which stretches as far as the eye can see. There is a market every day in different towns and villages, the closest being the Sunday market at Campo de Guardamar on the Lemon Tree Road - a 10 minute walk away.
Golf
Villa Mimosa is within a short drive of several top class golf courses such as Quesada, Rojales, La Marquesa, Villamartin and Las Ramblas. Campoamor, one of our favourites, is a 15 minute drive away. La Manga is slightly further south and takes half an hour to drive to.
Travel
The airports of Alicante and Murcia are 20 minutes and 30 minutes drive away respectively. It is advisable to hire a car to really get the most out of the area, however, airport pick-ups can easily be arranged. If you wish to book a car try Carjet or Doyouspain as their rates seem to be very competitive.
Distances
The bustling town of Torrevieja is only 15 minutes away where you will find large hypermarkets, cinemas, bowling, a water park and exclusive shops. The picturesque mountain village of Guadalest is an hour's drive away and the theme park of Terra Mitica which offers a good day out is about the same distance. The towns of Elche and Alicante are well worth a visit - or just spend your days on one of the many spotless sandy beaches.

Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £150 per week is required, with the balance due 8 weeks prior to holiday dates. A refundable security deposit of £200 is also payable to cover keys and breakages. The villa will be prepared for you to a very high standard for which there is a charge of 50 Euros, payable on arrival. Welcome packs available. Our property managers will make sure you have all the information you need about the area to make your holiday really special.
