This is a two storey house built in the 1800's. The entrance to the house opens onto a large terrace with a BBQ and seating area where you can sit and relax whilst taking in the stunning views and watching the sun rise in the mornings. The private pool open may - end oct . it is situated next to the terrace and is equipped with a shower, sun lounges and chairs.in house , Downstairs you will find an open planned fully equipped kitchen and a living/dining area with an open log fire. The owners live in the annex next to the house, so are available should you need them, however will not be using the facilities (ie the pool). On arrival you will receive a Welcome Pack from the owners and can arrange to meet you at Montefrio to show you to the house. This is a perfect property for a peaceful and private holiday.

Notes on accommodation
This property is very private and situated within an acre of land, although the adjoined barn has been converted, this is the private residence to the owners only who are English. The private and rented areas are separate and the owners will not have use of the pool when the house is being rented, but you are free to call upon them for any information and advice.

Accessibility
Accommodation is not suitable for wheel chair access as the property is set in the hills.
Outside
This property is set back in the hills with stunning views. A large terrace surrounding the property with BBQ, table and chairs and private swimming pool, is 4x8m with sun loungers and a shower.
Coast/Beach
The property is an hour and a half drive from Malaga and Costa del Sol where there are sandy beaches. There are lakes around Montefrio which are 1 hour drive from the property where you will find man made beaches.
Special interest holidays
There is horse ridding near by, that can be arranged through us. Walkers love this area.
Travel
The property is one and a half hours drive from Malaga Airport and half an hour drive from Granada.
Distances
The historic village of Montefrio is 4 km from the property which will take 7 minutes by car. Alcala La Real which is a large historic town is half an hour from property by car, they have a very good market on a Tuesday and on Sundays Granada has a large market which is the biggest market in the area. Granada also has the beautiful Alhambra Palace and Moorish Quarters which is an excellent place for shopping this is 15 minutes walk from Alhambra Palace.

Montefrio has a selection of banks, supermarkets, restaurants and an historic castle. Open air swimming pool, medical centre. Horse riding, walking and cycling are available nearby the property.

Mrs M Azahrihad a wonderful time at casa kody, the house is very nice, and I found pool area very good it is enclosed, so gate can be locked, so it is safe for small children I will be coming back.
