Perfect family apartment right on the beautiful sandy beach with its own, shared pool (we have never seen any other family using it!). Bahia Mar is a small development of just 30, mostly-Spanish owned apartments, and was one of the first built on the Playa Levante alongside the Penon d'Ifach, a National Park which rises from the sea to dominate this part of the coast with wonderful walks and amazing views. A row of old fishing cottages is immediately in front of the apartment and a huge sun-terrace overlooks the sea and is ideal for alfresco dining. Calpe, is easy to reach from the airports at Alicante, 45 mins, and Valencia, 75 mins. There are many restaurants, bars and shops close-by and the fishing port and yacht harbour are just a very short walk away. Tennis courts are 100 metres away. The area is well situated for exploring, with many traditional towns close by, as well as having plenty of other interesting places to visit. There is an underground lockable garage.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. 20% deposit to be paid in order to secure a booking followed by the balance two calendar months before the starting date. Paypal accepted.

| Other: | There is a secluded terrace outside the sitting room suitable for breakfast leading to a huge sun terrace overlooking the Playa Levante beach. This terrace is ideal for children's games and is perfect for relaxing, 'sun downers' and alfresco meals. |

Towels and linen provided and changed every week and some beach towels are supplied. Extra cleaning for more than one week holidays can be arranged at guests' expense. |

Notes on accommodation
Sun terrace is completely enclosed and perfectly safe for children.
Accessibility
Not suitable for wheel-chair access.
Outside
Shared swimming pool overlooking the beach. Floral gardens surround the terrace with Hibiscus, Morning Glory, Bougainvillia, Canna Lillies etc. Our lockable garage is on the semi-underground floor below but it is too small for very large cars. Vast private terrace. No barbecues, I am afraid.
Coast/Beach
Time taken to get to the beach - 2 minutes.
Time taken to get to the pool -1 minute.
Fine, sandy beach, very child - friendly with beach-clubs, sun loungers etc. Perfect swimming and skin diving around the Rock.
Golf
There are 4 golf courses within 45 minutes of our apartment, and suit all levels of golfer.
Travel
Alicante 60 minutes. Valencia 75 minutes.
Santander ferry terminal 10 hours (580 miles).
Car very useful but not essential.
Only small cars will fit into the garage.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We wanted an apartment as close to the Med as was possible to make life easier for us as well as our children & Grandchildren. The shared pool was a bonus.Nearby restaurants were another important factor as was the comparitive proximity to an airport.
Calpe is a lovely area not widely known in UK but those Brits that have found it keep coming back. Over 90% of our guests are returning to a easy-going, entertaining resort - and the beach is wonderful.
Unique benefits of the property
Convenience is number one for us on holiday and this apartment would be very hard to beat. If you are happy with sea, sun and good food & wine and not particularly anxious to explore then there is really no need for a car -but if you drive out or hire one the underground garage we own is a godsend in the high season. The view from the terrace across the bay is stunning and perfect for a sundowner.
