Totally refurbished luxury 5 bedroom villa in Urbanisation Carib Playa, Las Chapas only minutes walk from Marbella's best beaches and the beautiful small port of Puerto Cabopino. The little known Puerto Cabopino is arguably the prettiest port in the Costa del Sol offering a choice of excellent bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The property comprises 5 bedrooms spread over 2 floors making it an ideal choice for two families wishing to go on holiday together or alternatively larger parties. Upstairs consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 double with full ensuite facilities and two large twin rooms, a further full bathroom with separate bath and shower, entrance hall, study, large separate lounge leading onto the balcony. A stunning feature granite staircase leads downstairs to a further lounge and dining room area, the hub of the villa with access directly to the terrace, pool and gardens. A fully fitted kitchen, large family bathroom, double bedroom with ensuite, twin bedroom and store room.

Prices are in pounds per week and are inclusive of all services including sky TV package and internet access with the exception of telephone charges.

Short breaks to include weekend and midweek breaks are available. Please contact the owner for further information regarding this.

A refundable deposit of £300 is payable 14 days prior to your holiday to cover breakages etc.

Changeover day
Where possible changeover days are flexible, albeit this may be more difficult to arrange during peak periods. For the purposes of rental period prices however, these have been based on a Saturday changeover day.
Shorter breaks are available.

Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All rentals include an essentials food package upon arrival. All towels (excl beach towels), linen and a weekly maid service is included. Additional cleaning or ironing facilities are available subject to prior arrangement at a cost of 15 euro per hour.

 

Notes on accommodation
The villa benefits from air conditioning and heating throughout. There is also a open fire place in the upstairs lounge, perfect for curling up in front of and reading a good book during those chilly winter evenings.
During the refurbishment programme every attention to detail was given to provide a safe and fun environment for our children to enjoy their holidays.

Outside
The Villa benefits from sea views, the beaches being only a short walk away, a new private 8 x 4 metre (24ft x 12 ft)heated swimming pool, large terrace that can comfortably accommodate all guests, lawned areas for children to play safely on, a quiet shaded courtyard area enabling you to relax whilst reading a good book and superb established gardens including a large number of stunning palm trees.
The entrance to the property is through its own private courtyard which includes an attractive fountain.
The Villa is equipped with all outdoor furniture and equipment, such as loungers, chairs and tables and a gas BBQ.
There is also a separate remote controlled garage.

Coast/Beach
Cabopino beach, a nice safe sandy beach and regarded as being one of the best beaches in the Costa del Sol is only a short walk from the villa, (approx 400 metres). The beach is serviced by a number of chiringuitos (beach bars) as well as a number of good quality restaurants.

Golf
What can I say, being an avid golfer I was drawn to the area by the sheer number and quality of courses within such a readily accessible area. In my opinion, frankly there is nowhere else in the world that can compare in terms of the combination of quantity and quality and I am trying my hardest to play all 50+ of them!
The most local courses, ie within a 5 to 10 minute drive are as follows:-

Marbella (A particular favourite of mine!)

La Cala

For those of you wishing to play golf in the area, I would be more than happy to talk to you and recommend courses based on players ability having played a large number of them myself, however as a guide I would recommend the following, although many will require handicap certificates to be presented and may require booking well in advance:-

La Cala (North Course)

Skiing
Sun and ski, a reality, not a myth! The ski resort of Sierra Nevada is approximately a 2 hour drive away and provides a good standard of skiing. Snowsure conditions are guaranteed via the investment in snow making facilities providing skiing right through to May. Why not combine a few days of sun with a weekend skiing whilst taking the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Granada (only a half hour drive from the ski resort) and the famous Alhambra.

Travel
Malaga airport is only approximately a half hour drive away.

Distances
Marbella town and Puerto Banus are approximately a 10 and 15 minute drive away respectively. There is a local supermarket only a couple of minutes walk away with a larger commercial centre in Elvira only a couple of minutes away by car.

Booking notes
Bookings should be made by phone or email and then supported within 14 days by a 50% non refundable deposit, the balance of payment to be made 6 weeks prior to arrival
Payment in full is required for bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival date. A refundable deposit to cover breakages etc of £300 is required, payable 14 days before your holiday.

We had a brilliant holiday in November 2007, the weather was fantastic and complimented the excellent location and standard of accommodation enjoyed by this great Villa. It is true that the Villa is just a very short walk from the beaches and also close to some fantastic restaurants and bars. I had never heard of Puerto Cabopino, a stunningly pretty little port with some superb restaurants and bars. Rest assured I will be returning to this Villa and area again. Jon Law, Bristol
