Changeover day
Flexible. Villa is normally vacated by 10.00am on day of departure. Villa is norally available from 4pm on day of arrival-though we will be flexible around this when possible. Bookings now being taken for 2009 - Don't leave booking too late!

Notes on accommodation
This is a large luxury detached holiday villa in its own grounds, furnished and equipped to very high standards for you to enjoy a very comfortable stay. Air-conditioning units not needed as the villa benefits from a gentle breeze from the mountains in an evening, so you can be sure of a comfortable nights sleep. For winter bookings there is central heating but this is rarely used as what better way to end the evening by relaxing by the log burning fire. Any holiday booking receives 2 bonus gifts: Bonus 1 - free welcome pack with all the essentials to get you through those first few hours - tea, coffee, milk, sugar, juice, water, bread, butter, biscuits, eggs, etc. Bonus 2 -sit back and relax and enjoy a bottle of red and a bottle of white fine local wine.

Outside
Set in its own ground in beautiful rural location with almonds, pine and yucca trees. The large pool 10m x 5m pool is surrounded by a large paved area. Outdoor shower. Fantastic views to pine clad mountains, with great sunsets over the mountains. Lots of space for BBQs and relaxing. Brick built BBQ and sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The many beaches are located approximately one hour away from this villa! The great beaches of the Costa Blanca, such as those at Guardamar, can be easily reached in 50 minutes. Cabo Roig, La Zenia will take just over one hour. Or visit the Costa Calida and the beaches there - San Pedro, Los Alcazares, or the famous La Manga - these will take about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Golf
Play exciting golf near the sea completely away from all city stress... the nearest golf course is at Alenda Golf in Alicante, just a 40 minute drive from the house! The famous Las Ramblas, Campoamor and Villamartin golf courses on the Costa Blanca can also be reached in just over 1 hour.
Travel
If you are interested in visiting Murcia, you can enjoy the comfort of a private luxury holiday villa located only 18 km from Pinoso. The villa is easily reached from the airports: the nearest airport (Alicante) is just a 50 minutes drive away from Villa El Angel! Murcia airport is approx 70 minutes by car. A car is essential and car hire is cheap from either Alicante or Murcia airport.
Distances
This villa is ideally located. The nearest town of Pinoso is just a 10 minute drive away and has banks, supermarkets, post office and lots of restaurants and bars. Market day is Saturday. Alguena - a 10 minute drive and has a great Sunday market. The 7 places you shouldn't miss during your visit to Murcia: Murcia city (40 mins), Alicante (50 mins), Jumilla (30 mins) Fortuna, famous for its spa facilities (30km away) and Caravaca, Cehigin and Calasparra - all just over an hours drive away.

Visit one of the many dozens of bodegas you'll find in the villages and towns of Murcia and taste Spanish wines from the best Spanish wine producer's! The wine producing town of Jumilla is just a 30 min drive away and here you can book onto one of the popular Wine Route tours, an escorted tour, where you will visit a number of bodegas and sample a range of the popular local wines!
Visit hundreds of Churches... Spain is known to be a very religious country so you'll be able witness the religious legacy by the hundreds of churches we have here for you to visit! Enjoy our finest foods - the local gastronomy is regarded as one of the best in Europe. Go hacking in the local countryside - the nearest riding stables are a 5 minute drive away if you want to try your hand at horse riding. A great time to visit is in the last quarter of the year when the weather back home is pretty dismal. Whilst it is generally quiet in December, you'll be able to pack up the cool box and head for the beach to enjoy a picnic Christmas lunch on the sands. In January (the Spanish Christmas) visit the local villages and towns and watch the parades where the Three Kings ride through the streets handing out gifts of sweets to the children in the crowds.
Booking notes
30% non-refundable deposit at time of reservation. Balance 8 weeks in advance of travel. Late bookings must be paid in full at time of booking. Discount of £50 for 14 day holidays or longer (off full price only, not applicable on special offers). Breakage deposit of £200 required when final payment is due. This will be returned within 14 days of departure, following a final property inspection. Notification required if cot/high chair needed. Late flights after 10pm - supplement of £18.
Guest comments
We’ve just returned from Villa Angel and can’t praise it highly enough. The property is furnished to a very high standard, and there is nothing much you need to take to have a great time other than yourself, your books, ipod, and some sunscreen to properly enjoy the beautiful weather by the pool. It is such a great place to relax in private, yet there are plenty of bars and restaurants just a short drive away. In Pinoso you have to try Oasis and La Tasca, and 20 minutes away is the spa town of Fortuna (visit the White House for the best Sunday lunch anywhere). Don’t leave without driving to the top of the nearby Sierra de la Pila, which has the most incredible views I’ve ever seen without hiking for miles first. If you are fed up of feeling like a battery hen in holiday hotels, then Villa El Angel is the place to head for. Relax and leave your worries (and the crowds) behind.
