Our beautiful home (furnished in March 2008) has been fitted to a very high standard and comes with a LCD TV and a Philips home cinema system with a DVD/MP3 player. With fully fitted kitchen and conveniently furnished for 6, master bedroom has en-suite bathroom, twin room and family shower room are on same floor and attic room has 2 twins (twin beds in both room can be used as connecting beds and the mattresses zipped together to provide a kingsize bed). 3 private sun terraces, with south westerly aspect and overlooking gardens and the 14th fairway provide ideal space for relaxing. Large outdoor pool and children's paddling pool are set in well laid out gardens. Beach is less than 10 mins walk, quiet with tree shaded dunes ideal for families. Pretty villages, historical cities, miles of sandy beaches, excellent golf courses, exciting nearby activities, shops, restaurants and bars all combine together to ensure you have a great holiday.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. We are flexible on arrival and departure dates. Mid week arrivals and departures (to enable you to get the best flight deals) will be accommodated where possible. Rental periods spanning 2 tariffs will be calculated pro rata. 5% discount on bookings for more than 2 consecutive weeks.
Changeover day
Saturday is preferred changeover day. Arrival time after 1pm and departure time is before 10am. We are happy to accommodate different times on request based on other bookings.

Notes on accommodation
The property has a choice of air-conditioning (hot and cold). This property is suitable for families and Golfers. 3 double bedrooms can comfortably sleep 6. One cot, one high-chair and one car seat (toddler) available on request at no extra cost. Pls let us know in advance if you require these.
Accessibility
The property is not suitable for those with difficulties with stairs.
Outside
The house has 3 terraces overlooking lovely gardens and the 14th tee. Ground floor terrace has outdoor furniture including 2 reclining sunloungers and leads to beautiful gardens. 2nd floor terrace has round table and chairs for 2. Attic room has a large terrace with beautiful views and 2 reclining sunloungers. With all day (approx. 11am until sunset) sunshine, terraces are ideal places for relaxation. Pool area is fenced with a toddler pool and showers and communal toilets. Pool is open from 15th May - 15th September (inclusive) and is manned by a lifeguard. The complex is gated and accessible only by key. Use of Paddle Courts is free for guests.
Coast/Beach
The unspoilt sandy beach of Nuevo Portil is less 10 mins walk from the property and is protected from the Atlantic by the Flecha de Rompido, making it safe for children. Beach bars offer local cuisine and light refreshments. The beaches are very well maintained and showers are available on the beach.
Golf
The development is set around Nuevo Portil golf course which is a magnificent parkland course characterised by wide fairways and fast, smooth greens. With gentle slopes the course provides a challenge for all standards of golfer.
Splendid views of the Huelva coastline are available from many of the tees and fairways, with extensive sand dune beaches, Atlantic Ocean and a forest of pine and junipers providing a fantastic backdrop to your golf game.
A superb club house complements this well-established course and boasts facilities such as a full spa for your after-game pampering and relaxation, swimming pool, club-cleaning service and well-appointed changing rooms. Carts are also available for hire.
There are 5 other courses (El Rompido, Islantilla, Isla Canala, Bellavista and Dunas de Donana) within 30 mins drive all offering unique experience.
El Rompido championship couse now offers 36 holes with stunning sea views and is only 5 mins drive.
Travel
Faro and Seville are both about 1 hour 10 mins from the property and the drive is straightforward. Airport transfers can be arranged but car hire is recommended as it is the best way to enjoy the area. Car hire is reasonably priced with quite a few companies offering the service.
Distances
The beach is less than 10 mins walk and El Portil provides a good selection of shops, small supermarkets, bars and restaurants which is 10 mins walk as well.
Beautiful fishing village of El Rompido is 5 mins by car where fresh caught seafood can be enjoyed from any number of beachfront restaurants.
Karting track and an exciting water park are about 15 min drive and the main supermarket for the area (Carrefour Hypermarket in Cartaya) is also 15 minutes by car.
Further details
While golf, beach, cycling and dining will most likely be central to your vacation, there is so much more to enjoy.
Ayamonte is about 30 mins drive on the border with Portugal and has some excellent cafes, tapas bars and a fabulous indoor food market selling fresh meat, fish fruit and vegetables.
Huelva is approximately 18km from the property, an easy drive along the brand new dual carriageway. It has a wide variety of shopping, including the department store: El Corte Ingles.
Seville is about 1 hour 15 min and is one of Spain’s most captivating cities. There is plenty to see including the Cathedral, which is now reckoned to be the world's largest church where the climb to the top provides some great views!
At about 15 min drive there is karting track and an exciting water park.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required to reserve and secure your accommodation. The balance of the rental fee must be paid six weeks before your arrival. An additional breakage fee of £150 (or EUR 200) is payable on arrival at property. This will be refunded, before departure, once our local agent has carried out an inventory check and confirmation that no damage or breakages have occurred.

Just a quick email to let you know we had a wonderful holiday. Your house is lovely and well situated for the fantastic golf courses. The local info was really useful. I was delighted to find more books to read. My son loved the DVDs. Your agents are great. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy, they were very welcoming (particularly at such a late hour) and the offer of bringing food and water was much appreciated. They even provided us with a translation list for local food.
Anyway, thanks once again and if you ever need a recommendation we would be happy to give it.
A great time was had by all. A great place and lovely part of Spain. Apartment was 1st class. Spacious, well laid out and well equipped. Pool great and supervised by lifeguard. Beach brilliant both on the river side and also taking the ferry to the Flecha to get to the Atlantic side. Not many other English people and very Spanish. Excellent medical services locally in Cartaya and Huelva.
